I came across this article on one of the major damage control sites and had to post it.

Sounds super fake and why does this chick sound like she has a Korean-English accent? If you know what I mean.
Oh my, just listening to that accent makes me cringe.
Reminds me of how fake all the members in my zion were. They tend to overdo it a lot.
Maybe they think it makes them sound more sincere and convincing. Let's not tell them it doesn't ๐

seems to me all these testimonials carry the same 3 themes.
1. They never studied the bible before. (of course not, they can't sell this package to someone who has read and understands the real deal someone like Emil for instance would give the whole sales team a "shopping mall migraine")
2. They were looking for Religion when they were "convinced" to go. (If you are eagerly looking for religion already, why do you need to be convinced, especially by a loved one? Answer: because the sales manager wants you, the customer, to know ahead of time that the initial line of s/h/i/t is going to sound ridiculous so please just go to the church because the sales team is so sweet and you are a nice person. Then they brainwash you and your s/c/r/e/w/e/d.
3. They all live in cramped studio apartments (sorry simon) because they sold their home and gave the money to the church.
Now I am going to go out on a limb here and nominate this "phoney accent girl" for a Stainey award. Please give it some thought All-Knowing One, afterall we are trying to build bridges here.

This lady goes to the Seattle group. You can also see her in that lame video dancing for Zahng on the U of Washington campus. As for the Stainey award we used to have a guy in this area called Ken Schram and Ken would give away awards on the evening news called Schramies. The Schramy would go to the most inacurate, inconsistent, boneheaded, stupid group or person that he would come across. I really don't want to share the prestige of a Stainey Award but I do think a Schramy might be in order. By the way, this lady was one of the people assigned to my loved one when she was in this group. You see how fake Crystal is. It helped my loved one see how fake people are in the WMSCOG. Keep up the good work Crystal. Nine years of your life wasted so far and when your husband opens his eyes he's not going to be able to trust anyone for quite a while especially you.

I couldn't even watch the whole video, it made me cringe! Everything she was saying and how she was talking, is EXACTLY how my friend who is still a member talks, when he speaks of the WMSCOG. I really just want to puke at how well manipulated these people are. It feels so evil!

It's so sad! I can't believe these people all decided to put up videos all around the same time, and not think it's something weird about that. They sound like manipulated robots.

Based on the above I hereby withdraw my nomination for crystal's Stainey (I didn't know anyone knew her personally, she is not worthy)

I know so many people that speak like that in the WMSCOG and I never have paid attention to it until now when I hear the members from different locations. It seems like that tone of voice and the words they use come after so much practice of teaching their subjects.
