I am in desperate need of help. My minor child spends every Tuesday evening and Saturday, 7-10 pm, going to church with other parent. Last week, child didn’t go to school 2 days and spent all weekend at the church celebrating the holiday. I feel ostracized, like my opinions as a parent do not matter. Anytime I want to spend time on Saturdays with my child, I get pushback. First it was the parent unwillingness to negotiate with me, now it has been pushed onto the child to decide (with a lot of encouragement from the other parent). This is an elementary school child. I am at my wit’s end with this situation. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
