COUNT DOWN

Honestly, I am doing a count down….I really can't wait till Dec.31 it's going to be a very special day.

All this talk about the world ending in 2012 is really getting on my last nerve.  People I know have just quit college, saying that it's not worth it since the end is coming, they are going to heaven and they don't need to study.  I don't doubt that father is coming, I know he will, but the time or the hour no one knows, not even Jesus or the angels, only God Almighty!(OH i keep forgetting Mother is God)…..

This sounds just like that Harlod Camping man story! when will people learn, that man can not tell God when he is going to come.  Seriously speaking,  for this church to be saying this, they must have a PLAN B if 2013 gets here & we are all still standing.  It also seems as though the Mayans calendar has something to do with this.

what are they going to tell the members, that mother prayed to God not to come yet, because the children are not ready?  I heared this one before! or is mother going to move to the ends of the Earth where no one can find her.

or what is it then…that south korea knows, that north korea is up to something, and so this is why they say the end is coming.  They know the koreans are going to start the WW.

I would like to hear from a member, who can honestly answer this question, Would you still believe in mother, if nothing happens at the end of 2012, would you still stay in the church, even if they tell you something that makes sense to you.

Remember God can not lie, what he says he will do, so shall it be done, so think about it members, other members from 10-15 yrs have been hearing that the end is coming for years, don't deny it and cover it up…….how many times are you going to fall for the same line….God keeps giving you chances to act! and open up your eyes.

They will probably change their church name, and say they were being presecuted so much that they had no other choice but to change their name in order to continue the gospel work and find the lost children, and so the story repeats itself. just saying!

That is just utterly bizzare because in the United States, or at least this part of the United States, that is 100% discouraged.

i think in some degrees they can be flexible and adjust their sion attitude to where it is, depending on the local head deacon or deaconess policy and in some pleaces i think they are more careful about their attitude so they dont "stick out" specially in places where the people is more aware about the existance of cults or religion based scams

I was also confused when I first heard the members use the term "dorm".  Once I heard a member say that they needed a ride to their "dorm" and I asked, "so what college do you go to".  The member explained that she did not go to college but that she referred to the place that she slept as her "dorm" because the church was her "home".  Bizarre but shortly after I found out that this was very typical among the members in my location.  I think it's easier to keep tabs on members if they are living together.  Less time with their families.  100% focus on "the gospel".

Here common members are not allowed to live at the church at all its so weird.

I think the "dorm" she's talking about is a seperate place from their spiritual "home", Simon.

That college dropping is so popular among the members. The only members that stayed in school would stay because they have a student visa and if they stop they have to go back to their country. I know a member that had a student visa and dropped school and she ended up marring another member because supossely "mother told him about her" she agreed to date him for around a week, she was the one taking care of many "sisters" and a week after I noticed her ring in her finger. She said that "father and mother knew what she needed to continue the gospel" because her visa was going to expire in three months. I asked her if she loved him she said that he is her "brother" so of course mother wants her to love her brothers and sisters. She said that it was better like that so he doesn not become an idol or interfere with her "mission" with "father and mother." Not only Koreans I knew were doing this but members from other countries who originally came to America to study english or a career. If you are still there and you are going to drop school don't be ignorant. Do not leave school for anything because if this ends up being a lie (for someone that is in there they only consider that a doub) then you will find yourself to have wasted potential years of your life and without a degree. Cost of life is going up so by the time you realize that this is not truth you probably would have to start school all over again with a low income job.

It is very curious that your case is suposselly the contrary of everything that some of us are testifying… (I dont refer to this post but many others about different topics) I think you still going to the church or you are probably a leader… I dont want to ask you the exact location that you use to go but my question for you is: Were you assisting to a Church in the U.S.? If your answer is YES then… Which region: EAST WEST SOUTH OR NORTH? Was it a HOUSE CHURCH or a BIG CHURCH ? Around how many people would you see in this location?

That is the Ridgewood NJ (Bergen County) church which they call the NYC church. It is across the river from NY and yes I have been there. And I was offered a baptismal which I offered a Deacon a mikvah…

Don't understand why call it NYC church if it's not even in NY, New Jersey is a totally different state run by different officals.  Do they know their states or did they mean to decieve from the get go.

Seattle zion is actually 30 min away from seattle. Thought its not as far off as NYC zion I still felt like it was misleading. I think they use the name of the closest well known city for the zions.
