During our lives we are taught how to think and decipher the information that is given to us. We rely on our ability to know what we deem is true, real, and necessary. When our viewpoint is challenged and shown to be incorrect it shakes us up and causes us to overcompensate in other areas of our beings. This creats a opening in which others can overly influence what we think and believe. Our minds are a complex thing that can be open to great things or manipulated into believing things that at one time we would have possibly never allowed into our thought processes. Have you been manipulated? I am not a professional in this field. There is lots of research out there for us to discover on this topic and we should. If our thoughts are not truly our own then whos thoughts are they really? If we are believing something because of the undue influence of others and not because of our own discovery then we have been manipulated. Our beliefs must be our own not some fabrication that others have come up with. Do you remember your number from the sentence above? Was your number three? Most people do find three! There are in fact six. Due to the way we've been trained our mind usually skips the F's in the word "of". What do you believe? Of those beliefs which ones do you truly know? Did you discover them for yourself or did someone else teach them to you?
I got six because I was told to look for F's so F was what was important. If you said then sentence and told me not to count them but to try and remember them I'd probably have gotten two (because I wouldn't have thought about the whole word)
All of this life is about being manipulated to learn to believe that 'something' is true. We are lied to from birth – even if those lies are supposedly for our own good. Our parents, with the best will in the world, tell us things that they know not to be true or maybe don't know for sure to be true.
And so it continues every single day of our lives. People constantly bombard us with they 'know' to be true. We have to be very vigilant to discern for ourselves what is true and what is not. Even then, I'm not sure that we can ever be 100% certain. I think we have to confident in ouselves and what we have some to know as being so, and always remain vigilant and open to being shown that we are wrong.

Yes, I was just saying I am programmed in a different way. I look for things differently and remember them differently. Like I said about the F's I would disregard the F in Scientific if I were going from memory.
