THE REALITY OF THE WMSCOG's TEACHINGS.

I was brainstorming this morning when God gave me a revelation. After holding it up to the Word of God to see if God was really reavealing himself to me I decided to post it for everyones comments. This morning it was impressed on me that the WMS does not really read the Word of God. The word is taken apart, rearranged, and put together in lesson form to support whatever topic the WMS wants. It's a man made interpretation! Does God need a translater? NO! When we don't understand Gods word we are to pray for discernment and seek Godly counsel. When you're not really reading Gods word instead you're letting other people interpret it for you it opens you up to whatever those people want you to believe. It's no wonder that there are so many misinterpretations in the WMS teachings. Even when God tries to talk to a WMS member directly or indirectly (through others) the message doesn't match up and the WMS says that Satan is trying to steal their faith. Calling God Satan because the teachings are man made has got to be one of the greatest sins of all. The WMS will answer for this one day! I pray that the WMS members will open their eyes, remove the veils, (both literally and figurativley) and start reading Gods word as he gave it to us. Many things of God are not easy to understand and I know that one of the things the WMS pushes is that Gods word is not supposed to be a mystery but it clearly states that Gods ways are mysterious. Once again, this is Gods Word not mans interpretation of it. Please stop taking more and more lessons and start reading Gods word as he gave it to you. When you get confused, and you will, pray to the one true God to give you clairification. The more you trust in God the greater he will be in your life. No one can do this for you! You have to make the choice to believe the truth.

I could say the same of any Church, that I have been to at any rate, what makes WMC different?

That's an admonition that we all should take to heart, no matter what church we go to or who we study with.  Thanks, Joshua.

On a similar note, here's something I noticed with my sister and the wmscog.  Since we couldn't talk about Bible doctrine or discuss questions and differences without her getting stressed, but the Bible is still a big part of our lives, so I asked her to just read it with me–no debates or anything like that, just read (with a goal of reading through the Bible entirely), and we could point out any interesting words or verses (just nothing to debate about).

After a couple tries with our busy lives, we finally settled that we could read over the phone with each other, just a few chapters at a time.  What could be wrong with simply reading what the Bible says, right?

Well, when we finished Isaiah and were just starting Jeremiah, she said she didn't want to read the Bible with me any more because it made her uncomfortable.  We hadn't been having any doctrine discussions or arguments or anything, we had just been reading the words on the pages.  Again, what in the world could be wrong with simply reading the Bible together?  What would make reading the Bible 'uncomfortable'?

    Can you explain that, shimon?

I have two theories.  1. By reading whole chapters and books at a time (in context) she saw that verses in context show their true meanings better than verse picked here and there and mated together Frankenstein-style as the wmscog does it.  2.  The wmscog teaches that you can't read the Bible by yourself and understand it–you must have them explain it to you.  And by reading it herself, she was seeing that it didn't line up well with what she had been taught.  These two things would cause questioning about the wmscog, and questioning would be a mark of doubt, and doubting the 'true church' is doubting God, and that would leave her in danger of losing her salvation.  (Of course, if your doubt causes you to leave a false organization, then that would actually be a good thing.)

I cannot explain her actions. I read the Bible alone all the time chapters and books at a time and it never has cast a doubt for me.

Shimon, do you just not pay attention to what you read? How can you believe the WMSCOG and say that you study the Bible and not have doubts? There are over 500 scriptures that speak directly or indirectly of there being one God. One of these scriptures is one of the ten commandments. How obvious of a contradiction do you need in order to give you doubts about their teachings? How about the fact that Gods word states that the name of Jesus has the authority in this age and the next. I am really doubting your words and it seems that you are not seeking truth you are only arguing for the sake of arguing.

What about you? Let us make man in our image… Come let us confuse there languages… “…and who shall I send for us” and I said “here am I” do not harm the earth….until we put a seal on the servants of our God… The lord God almighty and the lamb are the temple .. The Throne of God almighty and of the lamb.. On either side if the river stood the tree of life… The two shall become one flesh

well said.  from a Christian pov, it could also be referring to the Trinity

If it meant angels it would make angels creators as well and if.it means trinity that makes three images not two and, makes three Gos not one

I cannot write that many verses, on my phone in “context” especially when, it, doesn’t change the meaning

Would you please enlighten us just how you would make an image of the Holy Spirit? Father, Son, Holy Spirit. I know that your group believes that this represents one God. This is the one true God. Now don't go reading anything else into this. You are someones son. If you and your father were capable of creating a life and you guys wanted to make it like yourselves. Would it look like you or your father? I expect a rational answer to be something like this. I look similar to my father just as he looks similar to me. When people see us together they can tell that we are in fact father and son. If we were to make another person to look like us I imagine it would look like both of us. It would be in our own image. This is really simple to understand and only twisted and taken out of context could it be made to seem like something else. Again I ask you, "Are you pursuing the truth and if so what have you learned about the obvious differences between what the Bible teaches verses what the WMS teaches?"

Once again you try to pick a fight. Now your just trying to throw in something about the trinity not being the one true God. Will you get real already? Go reread the Bible and then give us a real comment from an educated viewpoint.

unless you can demonstrate that Jehovah is not God the Father but God the Son and explain who God the Father is.

Lord and Adonai are titles Jehovah is a name, admittedly only a translation.

The question is if Jehovah=Jesus=Holy Spirit as the Bible testifies and "Us" and "Our" are the creators who does us and our refer to.

It cannot be Jehovah and Jesus and Holy Spirit because that would be like me saying Shimon and I will do something.

But say Jehovah who the Jews have beeing worshipping is not God the Father we could have Jehovah and the Father be an us but that doesn't seem reasonable since Jehovah says he is our Father, but maybe you have an explanation for that.

Your explanation also disocunts Jesus though which means from a Christian standpoint is still incorrect.

The Jehovah/Yehovah argument is also invalid unless you insist we called Jerusalem Yerushalyim and Abraham Avraham Isaac Yitzach and Ezekiel Yezichiel and Elijah Eliyahu et al.
