In hindsight, I think they were a church originally that loved their pastor, and then deified him. I have one question; When I first joined, the overseer told me that the Original members didnt recognize Ahn as God, til he "ascended". 8months ago we watched a video where Zhang was reminiscing over the early church years and told a story of how a member and members called him "Father" when he was alive.
So whose fault is it then? You've just absolved everyone basically. So tell me.. WHO is responsible for all the broken relationships? On whose hands is all the suffering and the anguish and all the psychological and emotional damage that in most cases is beyond repair??? Victim or not, everyone should be held accountable.

How often do you see your family members who are "outside the truth", dear WMSCOG members?
I personally know some that see their family once every two years or so. It seems the true teachings of mother are surprisingly similar to those of Scientology.

I know you're new here, so you've probably missed last year's discussion on Halloween. Might wanna read up on the topic or at least search the forum. I'm not going to explain again how massively satanic this holiday is and supporting it only lowers your credibility so you don't even have to bother with those videos. I don't mean to sound rude, but seriously, you did your reasearch on the WMSCOG, now take your time and do the same with halloween.

I'd say it's cause physical appearance shouldn't matter, or cause the picture is somekind of an image and we shouldn't worship images, but then again they have tons of pictures if Zhang Gil Jah.

Interestingly enough, according to Ahn Sahng Hong a generation was only 40 years, since the israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years. And now it's 80? How does god get his own prophecies wrong?? Does he have Alzheimers? 😀

Sarah's got it right. The people who love you will let you make your own choices! And regardless of what you choose, they won't think of you with contempt or disregard. I think you've already learned that the love of the WMSCOG is conditional.
Doesn't seem like they're from God, does it? What good does keeping all commandments do, if you're not keeping the most important one?
I don't want to play the devil's advocate here, but the WMS is one of the most welcoming churches out there. Maybe that's why they are having such success. It might not be geniuine, but I did feel very welcome there. As opposed to congregations of mainstream denominations that sometimes come off as rude and hostile.

Seriously, why not attach an NCC to the NDA? This way we can be 100% sure the WMS is purely about business. I'd be surprised if they were selling anything that belongs to the deacons or pastors. Gotta milk the members and get some of that green "fragrance" 😎

I do have to express my suspicions that you were never really out in the first place. In which case: How can you live with yourself going about and deceiving people all the time without any remorse? This is the definition of evil. I have always marveled at the way the WMS members can lie so easily without even flinching.
