The World Mission Society Church of God is a controversial religious group that believes:
- that a Korean man named Ahn Sahng Hong (1918-1985) was the Second Coming of Jesus Christ;
- that Zhang Gil Jah, a woman living in South Korea, is the “mother god”;
- that tithes and offerings are required for salvation;
- that “bearing fruit”, or recruiting new members, is required for salvation;
- that celebrating holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving are pagan and therefore should not be celebrated, and including but not limited to;
- that observance of the Sabbath on Saturday and a number of other Old Testament feats must be observed.
Please tell me where in the Bible does it say to celebrate Christmas and Easter? Fact is, it is not there, it has pagan roots that have nothing to do with Judeo-Christian beliefs.
