This hit home. I felt rage while reading this. They failed me. Worse than that, they really harmed me. I almost committed suicide. And they blamed me for not having enough faith. “Don’t you want to be an ox?” He asked me as I sat in the office. Next to me was my team leader, who had told me previously to stop thinking about myself in the midst of me having hallucinations and panicking. A few months later is when I had a total mental breakdown. I guess I should thank them, because that was the only thing that got me to stop attending. Ugh.
