I have seen a few posts with people saying Zhang’s name is actually Chang. Anyone care to reveal how they verified this information? I’m not doubting, I just need to confirm with my own eyes.

I remember the first time seeing her name in print in the church. I was amazed. ASH and Zhang..the Alpha & Omega, beginning and the end. I thought, ‘truly this is our god’. More evidence of a big fat lie!

When I was first researching the wmscog maybe 4 or 5 years ago I often saw it online as Chung Gil Cha.  I just figured it was an alternate spelling of the same Korean name, though it doesn't sound quite the same in English as Zahng Gil Jah.

Ok so this link shows 3 different spellings of Zhang’s name. But what I found funny is that her sister was imprisoned in Korea for embezzling money from a church. I guess it runs in the family. LOL

One thing worth noting is zhang is a real spelling of a real name (I’ve seen people claim otherwise) but that doesn’t tell us if it us hers

I put the korean spelling in google translate and the transliteration put jang and it did the same with other languages of the same name

Understand the orient. We have different languages that bear no resemblance to English or other European languages. We have names that are spelt in our languages. When these names are written in English, there are a variety of ways you can spell them to sound similar to the original language. There is thus flexibility in spelling. Normally, in India, such flexibility is exercised early in life, perhaps when a child starts going to school. Once that spelling is established, it is more or less life-long.

While it may not technically be wrong to spell her name with a Z, it is the idea behind it that must be examined. If she was called Chang or Chung or Xhang earlier and later started using the "Z", we can only speculate why. A and Z sounds great for the English speaking people of the world who have the money which I want to grab.

But that just raises the question of who spelled it what way when and can we even know?

If anyone has a Korean friend or acquaintance outside the wmscog, it could be a source for clarification. I did visit Samsung in Seoul once but that was about 17 years ago for a business visit. Haven't kept in touch with the guys I met there after our mutual business interest ended a couple of years later.

What if Ahn's name would have started with a J…..Jehovah….Jesus….J……..that's exactly what they wanted you to think, and I bet you were not aware of it until someone pointed it out to you.

@Kim…you know someone pointed it out. Her picture is everywhere but her name is almost a secret. I never thought about it until I left but there is only one picture of ASH where I was..which is strange if he’s supposed to be Heavenly Father.

That should be a clue to everyone that the church worships a false, unknown god. I wish I had noticed that much sooner. I could have saved myself some heartache.

@Disturbed, yes i hear there is only 2 pics one with him and zhang photoshop and 1 of him with the glasses the rest of the pictures are from the NCPCOG.

 There's a couple of ones where they keep them in the back Broom Closet or the "pastors" Office.  In the pic he's got slicked back hair and Birth Control Glasses on.  That's the picture the wannabe's (deacons and missionaries) model themselves after.  Once they get the look down, if they haven't already, they begin using the word actually every other word and stuttering / pausing as if they're having trouble with English.
