There’s a lot of pressure placed on members of the WMSCOG to recognize the supposed new name of Christ. If their god the mother is so important why don’t they recognize her name? By the way, she’s been called by a couple different names over the years. Which ones the real one?

king34ParticipantWell as have read those verses for myself and also took the study that the church of god offers, this makes sence that if god comes again it will be with a new name , I believe theres a verse that says that if you talk bad about the name of the holy spirit there is no forgiveness for that sin. Not sure what verse.

SimonParticipantMatthew 12:30 “He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. 31 And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
Thats as close as it gets but its about the Holy Spirit being blasphemed not his name

king34ParticipantWell you see those are little things that the church of god put on your head. I was led to think that it was his name that you can not talk bad about. But you can also make the argument that the name and the person is the same thing. they both associate.
May 21, 2012 at 6:41 PM #44155
SimonParticipantDepends on how you talk about his name I would suppose.
May 21, 2012 at 6:48 PM #44156
king34Participantwell i def. tell you is not ahsang home or how ever you spell it. I took that study and it was not very convincing like the other studies were. all they said to me is that my spiritual eyes are not open
May 21, 2012 at 6:50 PM #44157
SimonParticipantwhich study are you talking about?
Saviour of each age and new name?
May 21, 2012 at 7:01 PM #44158
king34Participantwell the study that talks about some one coming from the east. and how one apostle was on an island and your suppose to measure somehting and it lands on korea. and thats how his god. (well not like that but somehting similar) I have to review my notes I still have them.

SimonParticipantAh probably about the East or The Seal of God. Patmos Jerusalem and South Korea all being on the same longitudinal line.
May 21, 2012 at 7:17 PM #44160
king34Participantyes thats it.
May 21, 2012 at 7:19 PM #44161
SimonParticipantinteresting
May 21, 2012 at 7:21 PM #44162
king34Participantdo you believe in that sermon?
May 21, 2012 at 7:31 PM #44163
SimonParticipantYes I personally do
May 21, 2012 at 7:35 PM #44164
SimonParticipantGod said he was going to seal people from disaster starting from the east.
3,500 to 2,000 years ago there are very few who contest Passover of the Old Covenant did just that.
On Passover Jesus commanded us to eat His Flesh and drink His Blood as the Passover Lamb so it stands to reason there would be a connection between the two ideas.

I think you mean latitudinal line (latitudes are the lines that run horizontally).
Jerusalem is not on the same line at Patmos.
Patmos is about 37 degrees north, but Jerusalem is about 31 degrees north.
South Korea stretches from about 34 to 38 degrees north.
May 21, 2012 at 8:11 PM #44166
SimonParticipantI never remember Longitude from Latitude
May 21, 2012 at 8:16 PM #44167
gennyParticipantSo why choose to measure from Patmos instead of Jerusalem or some other area in Israel?
May 21, 2012 at 8:17 PM #44168
SimonParticipantJerusalem
31.7833° N, 35.2167° E
Busan
35.1508° N, 129.0567° E
Seoul
37.5833° N, 127.0000° E
Patmos
37.3167° N, 26.5000° E
Busan and Seoul are both between the North Coordinates of Patmos and Jerusalem

SimonParticipantRevelation 7 says the Angel will come from the east
2 Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: 3 “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”
East of where?
Rev 1:9 I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
East of Patmos

SimonParticipantJerusalem does also come into play a few places as well:
Isaiah 41:2 Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow. 3 He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet. 4 Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he.
Isaiah 46:10 I make known the end from the beginning,
from ancient times, what is still to come.
I say: My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please.
11 From the east I summon a bird of prey;
from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose.
What I have said, that will I bring about;
what I have planned, that will I do.

I think you are mixed up again. Look at your N coordinates again. Jerusalem is quite a bit different.
Jerusalem: 31.7833° N
Patmos: 37.3167° N
Busan:35.1508° N
Seoul:37.5833° N
