Propaganda is a form of communication that is aimed towards influencing the attitude of the community toward some cause or position by presenting only one side of an argument. Propaganda is usually repeated and dispersed over a wide variety of media in order to create the chosen result in audience attitudes.

As opposed to impartially providing information, propaganda, in its most basic sense, presents information primarily to influence an audience. Propaganda often presents facts selectively (thus possibly lying by omission) to encourage a particular synthesis, or uses loaded messages to produce an emotional rather than rational response to the information presented. The desired result is a change of the attitude toward the subject in the target audience to further a political, religious or commercial agenda. Propaganda can be used as a form of ideological or commercial warfare.

While the term propaganda has acquired a strongly negative connotation by association with its most manipulative and jingoistic examples (e.g. Nazi propaganda used to justify the Holocaust), propaganda in its original sense was neutral, and could refer to uses that were generally benign or innocuous, such as public health recommendations, signs encouraging citizens to participate in a census or election, or messages encouraging persons to report crimes to law enforcement, among others.

    Religion

More in line with the religious roots of the term, it is also used widely in the debates about new religious movements (NRMs), both by people who defend them and by people who oppose them. The latter pejoratively call these NRMs cults. Anti-cult activists and countercult activists accuse the leaders of what they consider cults of using propaganda extensively to recruit followers and keep them. Some social scientists, such as the late Jeffrey Hadden, andCESNUR affiliated scholars accuse ex-members of “cults” who became vocal critics and theanti-cult movement of making these unusual religious movements look bad without sufficient reasons.[10][11]

This fits the WMSCOG tactics to a tee. Since the group originated on S Korea, they seem to be very familiar with this. I don’t know of any mainstream churches that flood the Internet with their beliefs.

    Comments anyone?

A lot of theists flood internet with their beliefs some even more rudely than wmscog members. Even videos with disabled or abusively moderated comments

    Definitely fits wmscog though

I like this. It certainly fits Wmscog very well. "Nazi propaganda used to justify the Holocaust." Off topic. I think Hitler was a Jew though.

When I was a member they would tell us watching the videos helped in preaching (mother said). What is was really doing was moving their crap up on the google list, which is what they’re doing now with that whack @$$ website they set up.

Anyway their videos only show their point of view and everyone else is wrong. Well the word is certainly getting out that the church is not what it seems-its false, a cult and a criminal enterprise!

If they are not a cult they are cult minded. As much as I click on this site I ought to have an award. Lol. I don't even click on their site or anything relating to them. I just don't like their ways and what they are really about.

I agree! I have never been a member of any other group that behaves like this. They’re supposed to represent God but they go around calling people liars, suing people for ridiculous amounts of money in an attempt to quiet them. And all the while still tying to recruit more people. Well I know the preaching areas for where I live and I will not be allowing them to recruit my friends and neighbors!

Like a friend said, they sue, I transfer the grief to someone else who continues to hunt them until they confess. So they can sue all they want. There will be more and more people rising. Shame on them. A god that isn't ashamed to sue mere mortals. I spit on that rubbish.

Before the "I have already come" propaganda campaign (ie. which for the first time, openly advertised to the general public the names of A and Z), in my experience, the supposedly charitable activities were accredited to the We Love You Foundation. Perhaps this was because the donors to the foundation might be put off giving any funds if they knew of the connection with this religion. (This is the explanation I was given.) Since that time, many more of those 'charitable deeds' were advertised as being done by wmscog, even though it was always the wmscog members carrying out the activities. Yet still there is no clear and open acknowledgement that the two organisations (wmscog and the foundation) are headed by the same person.

Trust me, it is. We don't need to be spoon fed to see this. One great thing about this country is the fact that everything can be traced.
