In my daily travels across southern California, I come across Korean people. I was approached by a young Korean woman preaching about her Christian church. I stopped her and asked first if she was from Korea (rather than being in America most of her life). She answered yes. So I asked if she knew or heard about Ansanghong. The first reponse she gave was, "That church is a cult." I didnt expect that to be the first thing that she said but it is what it is. After further conversation with her she said she had no idea that the church had branched off from Korea and made its way to America. She said (her words) that they teach things that are not of the bible.

 

So now I understand the bigger picture of why there is not a larger Korean presence in the Reseda zion. They cannot preach to native S. Koreans because they know the church isnt really of God and will likely expose them. Glad to get validation from a Korean person not affiliated with the church.

I've had many validations from koreans as well – all unanimous. Everyone knows it's a heresy and no one takes them seriously.

And there I've always wondered why there weren't any korean converts 🙂

Has anyone ever been to visit mother? I'm guessing you're immediately cut off from any contact from the outside world once you land…

You are immediately kept from interacting with the Korean people. They try to keep you as isolated as possible. They know if you speak to a bilingual Korean person the jig is up!

LOL. It's actually kinda similar to what thieves do… Theives don't go theiving on their own neighborhood, usually they do it far, far away where no one recognize them as theives.
