First of all about your comment on how Jesus wasnt baptized into another religion so Ahnsahnghong shouldnt’t be baptized into another religion further’s the fact that you don’t know what you’re saying. Jesus was brought up Jewish because they were the only one’s looking for God, and He was then baptized into Christianity. Besides that Jews were the only religion back then…the clean and the unclean.
Secondly just because Father was a member of the SDA church that means that He couldn’t preach the Passover?? I don’t think that any church follows around anyone of it’s members all day long and makes sure they dont preach something else?…Father began to preach after He was baptized in 1948 and after finding some followers He set up a church so that the Passover could be kept correctly. Please don’t twist the meaning of sentences you pulled out of an article.

The "Jews were the only religion back then"? What about paganism?
Do you really believe that Ahnsahnghong was preaching the Passover in his SDA church? Actually the WMSCOG does follow their members around all day long. Could a member of your church get away with preaching something that contradicts your doctrine? You would probably have them escorted out by the police.
Why did it take Ahnsahnghong 16 years to "find some followers"? How many followers did he need before he could start "saving" them?September 24, 2011 at 3:26 AM #42315
He was showing the example of baptism, just like at his first coming. They were the closest to the truth. God allowed them some Holy Spirit to get a little bit of truth out there. A lot of people have an easy time accepting the sabbath day because of this.
Also, he allowed freedom of faith and baptism, respectively. But only God can re-establish Zion. Only God can save his people.September 24, 2011 at 4:36 AM #42316
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "showing the example of baptism". Jesus already did that. Why would Ahnsahnghong need to do that? Also, Jesus began preaching Christianity from the very moment after his baptism. But there is a 16 year gap between when Ahnsahnghong was baptized and when he "restored the passover". Where is this 16 year gap in the prophesy?
"God allowed them some Holy Spirit…". What do you mean by "some" Holy Spirit? Is there an example in the Bible that you can point to where God does this?
So the SDA's had "a little bit of truth"? If they only had partial truth, that means that the rest of the doctrine was lies right (Matthew 5:37)? Why would Ahnsahnghong be baptized into a church that contained at least some lies? Have you done any research on Ellen G. White? She was kinda crazy and didn't believe that Jesus was divine. She was a false prophet. So again, Ahnsahnghong needed to be baptized into a church that was partially established by a false prophet that wrote many of the books that the SDA's study even today? Pretty blasphemous.
Just curious what your thoughts are on this article regarding the Sabbath?September 25, 2011 at 3:23 AM #42317
Why did Jesus get baptize? Who was worthy to baptize Jesus? Nobody. Everything Christ does is an example. Ahnsahnghong is Christ coming a 2nd time, so naturally, he would also be an example. Also, to fulfill his reign as the root of David. David was annointed at age 30. Jesus was annointed at age 30 through baptism. Ahnsahnghong was as well. Nobody is worthy to baptize God. There isn't anybody on Earth that really could. God doesn't need to be baptize. It's fulfillment of prophecy. He exposes the SDA church. In no way does the church approve of SDA's. If you're not following one part of the covenant, you're not following the covenant. All they have is Sabbath day (which they don't keep correctly) and they understand the anti-christ a little bit. They are very far from the truth. They believe that the Sabbath day is the seal of God and that makes them the 144,000. Nothing in the bible suggests this. The 144,000 are taken up into heaven at the last days…. if the Sabbath is the seal, then all of their members since 1844 are still alive. While, they understand a few things, once again, they are far from the truth and in no way does the church approve of their false doctrine. I don't think you really want to understand the truth, you just want to try to find points to run with and say its heresy. We all have to ask ourselves… Would we believe in God in the flesh? Would we believe in 2nd coming christ? Do we have any idea on how to recognize him? Do we understand any of the prophecies? For our salvation, it's essential. The Jews 2,000 years ago did the same sort of thing you are doing.September 25, 2011 at 3:26 AM #42318
Also, a church isn't established as soon as someone gets baptized. That makes no sense. The reign as King David starts from the baptism (annointment). Jesus didn't start a church the day he got baptize, and he didn't establish Zion until he was about to be crucified.. so that would mean Jesus didn't reign for 3 years. That would mean he was blasphemous, right? If you are sincerely seeking God, I would love nothing more than to continue. If not, then this is over.September 26, 2011 at 5:15 PM #42319
I am a seeker of the truth. There should be no lies surrounding God's church, would you agree? If you think that the SDA doctrine is false, then why teach some of their lessons? For example, Daniel's prophecy, seven churches, etc.
That being said, wasn't Jesus' baptism prophesied in the Old Testament? Yes. Although you say that no one is worthy of baptizing Jesus, John the Baptist was also prophesied. Where is Ahnsahnghong's baptism prophesied? Where is the prophecy of the person that would baptize him? Why is the person that baptized Ahnsanhghong not spoken of?
Please explain why Jesus had to fulfill qualities of King David. I don't understand why Jesus, being fully God, had to be born to fulfill qualities of David who although he was a great king, was also a sinful man.
Thank you for your time.January 5, 2012 at 9:45 AM #42320
Emily, I noticed you talked about the SDA church and specifically E.G.W. denial of Jesus' divinity however, I must point out that in her book "The Desire of Ages" she writes "
by His humanity, Christ touched humanity; by His divinity, He lays hold upon the throne of God. As the Son of man, He gave us an example of obedience; as the Son of God, He gives us power to obey. It was Christ who from the bush on Mount Horeb spoke to Moses saying, "I AM THAT I AM…. Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." Exodus 3:14. This was the pledge of Israel’s deliverance. So when He came "in the likeness of men," He declared Himself the I AM. The Child of Bethlehem, the meek and lowly Saviour, is God "manifest in the flesh." 1 Timothy 3:16."
Furthermore, fundamental belief #2 of the SDA church states:"There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons. God is immortal, all-powerful, all-knowing, above all, and ever present."
With regard to her being a little crazy….perhaps and yet her writtings were fundamental to health reform in an era that still believed that smoking was good for lung disease.
Lastly, both the SDA church and E.G.W. never claimed her writtings to supercede the bible but rather to complement it much as a harbor map shows greater detail to an open ocean map. The bible does outline tests with which to test the spirit of prophecy for falsity however, I have not yet found anything such as this website dedicated to dilineating the contradictions between scripture and E.G.W's writtings. Therefore, from my own research and by default it seems at a minimum that what she wrote is not contradictory to any biblical teachings.
With regard to WMSCOG I must thank you and this site as I had my first encounter with two young gentleman this afternoon. They will be returning tomorrow with someone who speaks better english as all I could do was listen and write down the texts due to the language barrier. Needless to say I am fascinated by the fringe cults that have arisen from SDA (i.e.-Shepherds Rod/Branch Davidians and WMSCOG) If anyone has any further info on this I would appreciate anything you might have to offer.
Blessings and thanks for all of your insights.May 16, 2013 at 10:20 PM #42321
Emily brings up some good remarks.
Really there were no other religions back in Jesus time? as per Nick..the Jews were the only religion.May 17, 2013 at 11:15 AM #42322
Nick in his first post here seems to have missed that little snippet of information near the end of the article which quotes the wmscog as saying that ASH restored the PO in 1964.May 17, 2013 at 2:26 PM #42323
The article says wmscog has celebrated it since 1964May 17, 2013 at 2:40 PM #42324
Wrong. It says the PO has been celebrated since 1964. The wmscog did not even exist until much later.
Moreover, if there is a time difference between when he restored it and since when it came to be celebrated with regularity, it can only mean that there was a gap of no celebration by ASH even after he supposedly restored it.May 17, 2013 at 2:50 PM #42325

I always wondered.. I was taught that the PO was restored in 1948 but the chruch wasn't established until 1964. So, who was Ash keeping PO with if he was keeping it at all?May 18, 2013 at 6:12 AM #42329
I was taught 1962 was first Passover with disciples 1964 first as church. and never told when he first kept in his own householdMay 18, 2013 at 6:38 AM #42330
Do you guys really believe these teachings? I believe nothing they say, no matter even if it’s close to the truth. A dog can only bite me nice.May 18, 2013 at 7:31 AM #42331
