Who sinned? The man or his parents?

I can't tell you how many times I've heard things like someone must have sinned in order to be born like that or the parents must have done something really wrong for God to cause their baby to be still born. Where does this idea of prebirth sin come from? In John 9:1-3 Jesus and the Disciples discuss a topic like this. "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned… but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life." None of these people sinned and caused this? Kinda blows the whole "We sinned in Heaven" thing out of the water. If you read further in John you find Christ claimed to be "light of the world." I don't think that this revelation here is an accident as Jesus brought literal light to someone who had lived in darkness his entire life. It was for God's glory that this man was born blind. The truth reveals itself.

FTOS, thanks for informing us about how your church stands up strongly against homosexuality. What does your church teach about divorce and marriage after divorce?

My question is what your church teaches about divorce. Don't evade the question. Give me a direct answer.

Why are you afraid to commit yourself to saying it?

They teach not to divorce unless your spouse commits adultery or is trying to keep you away from F&M.

My relative's wife won't come into the church, and she absolutely doesn't believe in "The Mother."  But when my relative went to Korea the Mother didn't get the message or something because she told him his wife would go to heaven!  LOL!  She totally disrespects the Mother, she never goes to church and doesn't believe in their doctrine, but she's going to heaven?  How is that fair?  he said he won't divorce her, so they told him she is justified through him.  (I suppose as long as he is the biggest cash cow they have.  No money = No salvation)

So then, if salvation isn't individual, can all families just send one representative to the wmscog and be justified through that person?  LOL, makes no sense at all, does it.

I think Mother was giving him the idea that some day his wife's views will change. Not that she will continue to dismiss F&M but still enter heaven.
