According to the testimony of Jesus you must honor God, the Father.

Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He told us to believe in Him. He never said anyone was coming after Him. He told us to believe in Him & the One who sent Him. He told us to pray in His name.

We are also to pray in the name of Christ. Paul exhorted the Ephesian believers to always give “thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:20). Jesus assured His disciples that whatever they asked in His name—meaning in His will—would be granted (John 15:16;16:23).

Jude 20

²⁰ But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,

It is important to understand that Jesus is the only mediator between God and man. No one else—not Mary, not any previous Christian saints, not angels—has the power to intercede for us before the throne of the Almighty. Christ alone mediates and intercedes between God and man. “For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men,  the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5).

“The Word [Jesus] was God” and “the Word became flesh” (John 1:1,14). These verses clearly indicate that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 tells us, “Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.” Who bought the church with His own blood? Jesus Christ. And this same verse declares that God purchased His church with His own blood. Therefore, Jesus is God!

“Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ ” Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.” And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” (John John 6:31-35)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
