Does anybody know what is going on today October 4rth, 2013 Friday? Or even some dates in the past that members are calling out of work to go attend and participate in something?

 

I think this is a bit over-board now? Starting to scare me & my family .

Yes, they are getting ready for the feast that will start tomorrow. They just want to make sure that everybody is on board and get ready for the "marathon".

I remember a few years ago when we talked about the end of the world in 2012. I was made claer that there wouldn't be a 2012 and that there wouldn't be any feasts after 2012.Now it is 2013 and the next feast is going on, non is mentioned to me and I wonder what excuse will be used for getting up early the  next few mornings or leaving at nights. I didn't sleep well last night so I made a general remark about sleeping this night hopefully without any disturbance, no reaction. Waist of time, waist of money, waist of everything.

Wow, crazy.. So from experience, would you say the main thing keeping people in is fear? I have heard it from a few ex members. And if, fear of what. Fear of going to hell?

Yes, the main thing is keeping people in fear. But not for going to hell, but from not being saved. If you don't obey you're not going to be saved and go to heaven. People áre disattaching themselves from families and friends, who don't want to be a memeber. So sad and scary.
