Does anyone know what the WMSCOG does with the polaroid picture that they take of people once they are baptized? They claim to have over 1 million members so that means over 1 million polaroids. Do they throw them out once a member decides not to return?

I had no idea who Ahn and Zhang were until I was a member for a few months.

Sarah2013ParticipantYou know what’s weird? Do you know it took me almost a month to realise that the picture of the woman posted all around “Zion.” with her children was Zhang/mother. Can you imagine that, nobody told me she was mother god. I didn’t even finish all the required studies b4 they rushed me into baptism. I actually thought she was a leader of some sort. At some point, as I continued to study, I called her Holy Spirit. Why can’t Wmscog be direct and straight forward?

SimonParticipantBecause that would make them consistent and easier exposed

Sarah2013ParticipantTricky.

Love'n HoneyParticipantAnd ASH isn't seen in Zion nearly as much as Mother. Usually, you only saw ASH in videos.

Why is that though?

SmurfParticipantIt's simple – he deeeead! ๐ back then they didn't have instagram and stuff, you know. And of course she takes up all the place… It's basically a city incarnated in a human! That's kinda huge.

Love'n HoneyParticipantThey have a couple pictures of him that they show in the videos. A picture of his profile, a picture of him at the pool pit, and a picture of him and Zhang.

ILJC2013ParticipantMy husband got baptised in a Hotel Room (nice!)yet when I asked him questions about the cult he couldnt answer. It definetly wasnt a joyous thing more like guilted into it because he grew up Catholic…they were like get baptised now!! My mother in law got baptised but didnt tell my father in law or anyone else for that matter just went off one night and did it. Weird that its not something they wanted to talk about..the whole thing made me sick. My husbands 18 yr old cousin got baptised when I asked him who Ahn was he didnt know.lol..kind of weird that you get baptised into something you have no idea…whats the rush? I dont get it…I guess people can be talked into anything. The fact that they talk polaroids its so creepy I dont even know what to say….

TruthParticipantFrom what I know they take a photo of people when they are baptized to start a file on you. Your face is how she (mom) knows you. Some churches put them up for your class work with your grades. Some use them for bearing fruit and branches.
But, everyone fills out a spirit card, your photo goes with that. They are very organized in the computers and files. Gee, I wonder why??
Bigshine?????

SimonParticipantI never filled out a spirit card o.o

TruthParticipanta long time ago they were called an information sheet. Especially those whom went to Korea filled out a sheet with info on it showing
name
address
D.O.B.
S.S.#
any family members baptised or if not what their denomination is or was.
occupation
ect………
I heard in Feb. when Pastor Noah did his tour with the big 3 day meetings and signing of the non disclosures, everyone had
to go on a website to fill out what they now call "a spirit card"

TruthParticipantSince 1997 there has been so many changes to the doctrine, teachings and bible studies. The people who will know this are those members baptized between 1997 & 2005. After 2005 the American churches began to boom!
This is why so many members left at the same time in 2011. The hypnosis was wearing thin when you stop attending preaching meetings and bible studies. The mind control gets weak. That's why they tell you not to be part of the worldly ways as much as possible.
Also, we know that in Heb 8 it says: "God is the same as yesterday, today and forever" God doesn't change we do. We change God to meet our requirements and whatever is convient. I say we to mean people in general. Whoever is not a sinner let him cast the first stone.
I also wondered if God really wanted us to be like puppets or robots. Isn't that the reason God gave us free will in Heaven according to the church doctrine. Ref: Visitors from the Angelic World book

TruthParticipantDoes anyone know when the first blog or info regarding ASH was introduced in the internet?

SmurfParticipanterm does anyone know what the excommunication procedure's like? Do you get your spirit card back?
And also what's the deal with the special workshops in the States? I'm not from the US and people from my church used to go to some gatherings over there… even more often than to those in Korea ๐ US-members were like an example.

SimonParticipantStill doesn’t ring a bell must be regional
Also wmscog doctrine is never had don’t have and won’t have free will
June 4, 2013 at 4:09 PM #41808
TruthParticipantI am very surprised a lot of you that are ex members don’t have a lot of information regarding their doctrine.
this could also be proof that every church is so different it cannot be the same God. 2000 years ago the small churches always did the same thing from what I can see in the Bible the apostles taught the same every with a went.
didn’t God give us a choice in heaven whether to follow Satan or not (wms doctrine). of course he already knew what we would do but we still had a choice.

MountainMomParticipantAnother person has been asked to be baptized on their first visit to this church. My middle son was at the Zion with my older boy who is a member. He was visiting, and it was his first time at the church. Everyone was oh so nice to him, and he was very impressed. But he doesn't believe in any of what they have to offer, and he politely refused to be baptized. If he didn't already know what they were pushing and how they do it, he probably would have been baptized to be polite or just because he didn't see any harm in doing it. He knows better, though, and he didn't do it. My daughter also refused under the same circumstances a few years ago.
I say this because the information this forum puts out is really effective. Word of mouth is also effective. Anything we can do to inform people ahead of time will innoculate them against this scourge before they are infected. I thank everyone on here for their work and dedication to this site.
And to all who say they had to do studies or weren't baptized before they knew what they were getting into, I can say from personal experience and from the experiences of every one of my kids, we were pressured to be baptized the very first time we stepped into the wmscog. Of course they do this to inflate their numbers whether FTOS or his alter egos admit it or not.
