Shocking that any other group could do a community clean up effort isn't it? Well folks the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Regan as well as the project team got together and did a community service project. Armed with brooms, dust pans, and trash bags they went out into their local community without alerting the media! Did you get that last part? They didn't bother calling the local TV, radio, or newspapers to cover this event! They did it just to help. The project plans to do similar events in their area in the same manner. No overseers talking people into this with words like "mother says we should do this" or anything. This is what serving and seving with care and love should look like! Shame on the WMSCOG for their media events to try and show how great they want outsiders to think they are. Pathetic!

They say they follow the bible to the core, but i guess this doesn't apply to them.. HYPOCRITES!!

It's really ironic. I feel that the WMSCOG doing community service serves purely for deflection.
ANTI WMSCOG: "What about law suits that former members face for speaking out? or accusations of abuse? or broken families? or the consistent report of negative experiences from former members?"
WMSCOG: "Our church does a lot of community service that is recognized by the media…"
It's really frustrating that they think their little street cleenups and blood drives somehow nullifies all negative accusations against them. Scientology does community service and disaster relief too, as does LDS and JW.
If someone really wants to say that social work is somehow symbolic of a benign organization, then they need to consider hamas and hezbollah with the same regard( they do social work too).
Come on, the wmscog is a non profit organization. Clean up is what they do since they are non profit and all. My overseer would call the media so he would get a spot on tv.
However, the military just getting out there and doing the work is how is should be done. They have God's blessing.
