Ex members, you do NOT need to feel bad that you worshipped ahnsahnghong. Lots of churches have the same atheistic doctrine saying there’s no God the Father but only Jesus. (They say Jesus is God the Father and that’s it-there’s no Father of Jesus). Wms members-God loves you. God will always love you. Nothing you did could change that. God loves everyone on earth, the whole world. You were deceived. Lots of other churches have deceiving doctrine saying there’s no God who sent Jesus. “The whole world was led astray.” Everyone has been deceived at some point in their life. You were tricked into worshipping ahnsahnghong but you have a good heart wanting to serve God, and you love God-that’s why you tried to do works for God. It is ok-you are not a bad person because people calling themselves prophets led you astray. You are God’s little sheep whom He wants to give green pastures to forever. You are God’s children who got led astray by people proclaiming to know the Bible. It was just a mistake as sin can mean “error.” God holds nothing against those who ask Him for forgiveness. God saw your heart that you were just trying to work hard for God and to save and help others. Everyone in the Bible besides Jesus made mistakes too. Paul was deceived before conversion. Obviously God loved Paul. There are lots of cults out there-lots of smart, intelligent people have gotten tricked by cults. Please-God wants a relationship with you and wants to give you the perfect life in Heaven. It takes time to heal, but just give yourself time to heal. You will feel better. It is ok to have accidentally preached a wrong message-everyone says things they are mistaken about. You were taught to say those things. Life can be so much better. You will enjoy life if you give yourself a chance to recover.

You have to understand there’s TONS of pastors out there that thrive off getting more members so they feel like “they’ve saved the world, they are a great teacher, and so they have great power.” It’s probably not so much about the money with wms-it’s about “look at me, I’m someone, i have many followers-people obey me.” To them it’s “look, i saved everyone by my power.” They thrive off people obeying them-look at Hitler and the ***. To Joo he’s the #1 chosen prophet-it’s about getting more followers-then he was chosen for a reason in his mind, because he did it “he led everyone.” Except WMS leads people to believe there’s no God… They push and push and push getting more members because then “they were successful. They did a good job. They saved the world.” “They are the prophets.” It’s all about numbers-the needing so much money is so that they can get impressive buildings. That’s why they always do construction, though every year they say they’re about to go to Heaven that year. The WMS pastors live in WMS churches-it’s about their homes looking nice. It’s their mansion-that’s how they see it. They have to have nicer homes than everyone around them in their minds. You’ve got to understand-they feed off getting more members. It indicates to them that they “must have obeyed.” They are taught “only the 144,000 really obey.” They are taught “if they ‘do it (obey)’ then the numbers will definitely grow.” Growth of numbers is their outward visible indicator that they are working hard and doing better than everyone else. They will say and do almost anything to try to get the numbers to grow because the higher the number of members the more it indicates to them that they are “great prophets.” They feed off you obeying them. Not all WMS leaders are bad people but they have no concept of God’s love. They thrive off getting you to bring in more people so they can bring in more people-it shows their greatness to them, only a few can be the leaders in WMS world-only those chosen to do their academy, who pass etc. It makes them feel better than everyone else to get more and more members. Don’t be used for their ego.

So true, Anon7.  For many leaders, missionaries, etc., it is about power over others and their own ego.  For many, mostly those at the top, it is about the money as well.  Money, power, and control.  It's true what they say about absolute power corrupting absolutely.

Thank you MM. 🙂 the Pastors there get paid to live an easy life, not having to actually work like everyone else. They get a free house, free car, free food etc. Paul worked and cared for the church. The early church didn’t need more and more money for nicer buildings and newer looking buildings. They ask for money because it is not distributed in such a way that it doesn’t stress the members. Their god isn’t even wise enough to be able to buy buildings in such a way that it’s affordable. Lots of churches buy or rent buildings carefully so they don’t stress the members. Lots of Pastors of other denominations really care about the members and are careful not to put financial stress on them. These are typically the best churches and aren’t cult like. I guess Gil isn’t smart enough with money or doesn’t care about stressing the members repeatedly… Tons and tons of Christian pastors do a much better job at the financial part of buying a building than WMS. Why do they need to ask for more money all the time? It took me a year or more of reading what you all pointed out on this site about this stuff for me to realize it. Your posts helped me! Thank you all.

An almighty god who doesn’t care or a nonmighty god who clearly still doesn’t care. Take your pick…

    Wow.

Yeah they’re told “even pastors of other churches and even Kings and presidents have to come bow down to them [the missionaries and Pastors] and learn from them.” That’s exactly how they quote it because that’s exactly how it was said to them by Joo and Gil. That’s verbatim.

They think out of 7 billion the few leaders having gone through “their academy” are the…”leader Prophets” for lack of a better term lol. They think Joo is the #1 prophet, so they try to be like him. They’re told Joo is the leader, Joshua, Solomon etc prophetically. The Pastors and missionaries think they’re right under Joo, so it’s an exclusive chosen few who can only lead if they pass their academy training. All other members are warned never to speak against the Pastor of the individual church, never to complain in general-those who do are like “those who died in the desert.” It’s classic “you can’t think and reason for yourself,” tactic-so accept that it’s cultish. THE EARLY CHURCH WASN’T CALLED A NAZARENE SECT BECAUSE THEY SEEMED LIKE A MONEY POWER HUNGRY CULT. They are told only ahnsahnghong can interpret the Bible (so never try to reason with verses yourself). Among the leaders of each church it’s a competition to see who can get the most members. They are validated by seeing the visible result (of how many new people came). To them they are only loved if they obey completely-and it’ll show who’s really obeying by the number of new recruits. This church does more gymnastic tricks with Scripture that was thought possible to be able to perform.

The members are slaves to the mentality that they have to work for God’s love to stay saved. They are slaves to pay the Pastor’s bills. They have to work all day at work, then work all day preaching or studying. They are really misused. WMS if you hear nothing else-GOD DOESN’T WANT YOU TO MISS THE BEST YEARS OF YOUR LIFE OR ANY YEARS. GOD DOES WANT YOU TO HAVE FUN and hang out. You don’t have to work every day-even God took a day off… You can take a day off every week too… GOD WANTS YOU TO MAKE FRIENDS, HAVE FUN, ENJOY FAMILY. God didn’t lead Israel out of Egypt from having to work every day to make them work every day all day! Physical work is enough! You don’t have to do spiritual work too! God didn’t hire you to preach 6 or 10 hours a week. God feels bad you have to work physically hard at your job-you don’t have to do 2 jobs-one for money to support WMS and one for WMS… EVEN GOD DIDN’T WORK IN THE EVENINGS IN GENESIS, HEAR ME WMS! DON’T GIVE YOUR LIFE AWAY TO SOME EGOCENTRIC PASTOR or crazy woman working you to death! Don’t work day and night… Even God didn’t do that! “and there was evening and there was morning.” Wms admits God worked during the day time, then there was evening!!!! You do not have to work more than God to go to Heaven…8 hours work a day is PLENTY! We can’t say God worked more than 12 hours a day, a day is 12 hours till evening. You work 8 hours, drive home, clean and cook. That’s 12 hours, THAT’S PLENTY.

Reason with concepts yourself at least WMS-what does love look like? You were never given a guarantee you could go to Heaven even for going to church every single day, because you “still might fall away.” If every day all day works is not enough, then what is enough? Make them give you a guarantee about Heaven-they can’t! If 7 days of work all day isn’t enough to definitely go to Heaven, no amount of faith is enough to go to Heaven… Then what is enough?! “you still might fall away as so many around you fall away.” “They must have sinned and did something wrong.” Please-God’s children are always God’s children. They tell you you became God’s child through Passover but can still fall away… Then did you become God’s child or not? They say there’s “weeds and chaff” in their church…so the weeds and chaff will fall away. So how can you know if you’re wheat or disposable-you’re left to wonder every day. That chaff doctrine was the greatest misuse of Jesus’ words known to man. You’re told half of the congregation even could go to Hell as “5 virgins were foolish and 5 were wise.” Then how can you know if you’re the percent that will fall away or not? Reason with just one verse “perfect love casts out fear.” 1 John. Gil is love or Gil is fear? WMS breeds fear in you to make you work for them so they can look like the greatest prophets in human history. Except every actual prophet taught there was God…
