    So anyways I posted a very neutral / poignant post about the church IRT (in regards to) 1 Cor 7:7:12 about their God / Mother…Noticed they deleted my comment.    Check out my rebuttal.   I kinda like this….

    Heres my post just in case…

    I just learned about the bible….However please explain this…..Christ AHnsanghong came to this earth to preach the gospel?  Bring back the Passover?1 Cor 7:7-12 Those that cannot control themselves for the gospel should marry (paraphrasing).  "For it is better marry than to burn with passion"  The word of God was written by God himself .  For the word became God.  Anyways….SO my point in all this…because I'm confused….is Ahnsanghong being God and all….decided to be impregnated into a lady in a village…..thus becoming a teenager….who became a man.  Then all the while being in a Buddhist family (fulfilling the prophecy of Machleizexk)  joined the 7 day adventures church.  During this time….he was married and had a cute little boy….and divorced.  Ouch.  Read the above scribed scripture.  However he's God and can go against grain from time to time right?  So anyways….it's the 80s…he decided to preach about Passover and Heavily Mother.  So that "follow my example for I follow the example of Christ" goes out the window?  I'm going to close for now….but it's not over….right????  We still have to go through the rest of the timeline…

    Like other cults, including Unification Church, Scientology, etc, WMSCOG is both attacked and defended through postings on the Internet. This is nothing new, but it does show that WMSCOG is getting "tuned in" to using the Internet to protect itself.  The best way to counter propaganda like this is to produce a similar video using much the same characters.  This time, the production exposes the truth about WMSCOG (worshipping a philandering itinerate Korean preacher named Ahn and one of his divorced girlfriends name Zhang).  Let the games begin!

    Other points on the video would show the young recruit getting phone calls at 5am to pray, working dawn till dusk recruiting, giving money, money, money (all those different colored envelopes).  The wear and tear, the family problems, etc etc.  Lot's of good material to work with.

    @Heinrich. Great idea. I think that will work great. I just remembered a video WMS showed, with Zhang talking about ASH’s sacrifice, and how he went to a remote mountain in Korea with Zhang and a few members and yelled, “I have already come”. Now, on different occasions I have been told two conflicting things;

    1 Did ASH ever say he was God, while alive?

    2 Did the members beleive he was God while alive?

    Regarding ASH's claim on deity, the wmscog explains it as that he claimed to unseal the seven thunders in his book, and in the bible it is written only root of david, god, can unseal it. Hence by claiming to be unsealing the thunders (in the preface of the book), he is claiming to be god.

    However,

    Reading through revelation shows that there are multiple scrolls and there is no reason to say that the one which only god can unseal (with the seven seals in  Rev5) is the same as the one with the seven thunders (Rev10). And assuming that revelation can be read chronologically, Rev10 happened much later, after the plagues, the 144,000,  etc. So timeline wise it makes no sense. There is also no mention of unsealing the scroll with the seven thunders.

    Not to mention that we will never know when was the preface written.

    The NCPCOG, "sister church" of the WMSCOG, also follows ASH, but believes that he is just a prophet. So your second question my guess is that some yes some no, those who did went off to form the wmscog

    @kai I was told by a Missionary, that the church, while ASH was alive, didnt “recognize” him as God. Later I saw a vid.of Mama Z recalling a story and another woman called Ahn “Father” while he was alive. All in all we all know the following:

    ASH beleived himself to be a prophet. Some of his congregation deified him. Others did not.
