I watched all 4 videos. I'm so sorry that they stole 5 years of your life. The good news is – it was only 5 years and you have many, many more years to live a free and fulfilling life! This is what Elizabeth Smart's mother said to her after she returned home from spending almost a year with her kidnappers:
"Elizabeth, just be happy. If you go and feel sorry for yourself, or if you dwell on what has happened, if you hold on to your pain, that is allowing him to steal more of your life away. So don't you do that! Don't you let him! There is no way that he deserves that. Not one more second of your life. You keep every second for yourself. You keep them and be happy. God will take care of the rest." (p. 286).

Of course, her story is not exactly the same. She was mentally and physcially abused by evil people. While the leaders of the church are evil, the members are good people and really, truely believe what WMS is teaching them. But you have already made great strides in helping others to be free! Just like Ron and Diane's videos helped hundreds of members to get the courage to leave, people will be freed because of you! Hold your head high and do not be afraid! You have come out a winner. You have your life back! Make it a good one!
I have watched all 4 videos and have experienced each and everything you said in our zion in mumbai.Thanks for letting us know in india how we were also tricked in the same manner and all their evil tricks exposed.
I have also seen top decons and missonary side tracked and not allowed to pray if they hear or see any thing bad about them.I have also seen them being transfed to places ,and tell them it is time to retire because of your age etc.Leaders telling young colledge students to go preaching instead of going to lectures because this degree will not take you to haven but saving brothers and sisters will.So many have left colledge and have become gospel works and devoted them selves to preaching some have left home and have got married and become decons who live in zion and serve the church and still this trend is going on today.Last week a lot of them gathered in Pune for a big preaching meeting from various zions.The best thing i like of your vedio is they are trying to let the cat out of the bag that father and mother were married divoced and had children which was hidden from members and they said they were only rumors to disturb your faith,they even went to the extend of saying it is not important for your salvation.I also heard them telling all members who have left mother said they will return back to zion someday but at the same time they are told not to talk to members who have left how funny and foolish this could be.

It gives us Loved ones of those trapped, hope, that someday they too may be able to stop ignoring the doubts that surely are in the back of their minds.

Well done Brian for having the courage to leave that place of torment.
Having watched all 5 videos I must say I relate to all that you said. Especially the parts when you talk about the shame, guilt and fear that you were always made to feel. The constant gossiping by the Koreans about your weak faith and the endless demands to be perfect. The lies, the deception, the manipulation and the power trips all of it brought back so many incidents that I had thought had forgotten.
