I remember hearing the WMS saying that the UN was going to start WWIII.  I was told that this was according to prophecy.  Did anyone else hear this when they were members? or from their family members that are in the church?

Can’t say for sure. However, I believe the NWO will not be in our favour. WWIII will happen, unfortunately. Just about all the mess in the world is leading to it.

 Same here. There's a verse about an attack from above Jerusalem. Jerusalem = Mother. Mother is in S. Korea. N. Korea is above S. Korea.

Well that's what they were saying in my neck of the woods back in 2011 during the air strikes in Libya.  It just doesn't make sense to me in retrospect because if the WMS really believed that, then why would they donate $100,000 to the UN?  To fund WWIII?  I've heard this from other former members too by the way, but they were in the WMS before 2009.  What is taught seems to differ among locations and when something is taught that the WMS leadership doesn't agree with later, then they just blame it on the members "teaching incorrectly".  smh

I mean I get that the $100,000 was supposed to aid those in Haiti, but couldn't they have donated the money to another organization and not the one they believed would start WWIII?

I hear you Simon.  But unfortunately some people here didn't think that way :(.  They are convinced that the WMS knows everything and can't make any mistakes.

Mostly because the leaders keep saying "Who has the Sabbath? Who has PO? Now who has both? Only us so we know all the truth." That's how they got me to stay so long.

Yeah I remember that.  That was HUGE thought-stopping.  Once you buy into that perspective, there isn't anything else that could be right, even if the "truth" is wrong.  True words of enslavement…
