Renita, I just got your message through my blog.  I hope any issues you are having with the forum here have cleared up.

Here is the question you wanted me to start a new topic on, but you might need to explain it a little more:

How is Ahnsahnghong the Root and Offspring of David.  Jesus was Jewish, but Ahn was Korean.

Read Matthew 1 (which shows Jesus' genealogy) and Rev. 22:16, "I, Jesus, … am the Root and the Offspring of David…"

Please show me, what your talking about!

Hal is talking about the two lineages of Jesus given in Matthew 1 and Luke 3.

They don't negate each other, though.  They complement each other.  Matthew has Joseph's line, and Luke has Mary's line.  There's an explanation here: http://studylight.org/com/bcc/view.cgi?book=lu&chapter=3&verse=23#Lu3_23 (scroll down to verse 22).

The WORLD is a vampire, sent to drain

Secret destroyers, hold you up to the flames

And what do you get, for your pain?

Betrayed desires, and a piece of the game

    Even though I know – I suppose I'll show

All my cool and cold – like old Job

Tell me I'm the only one

Tell me there's no other one

Jesus was the only son, yeah.

Tell me I'm the chosen one

Jesus was the only son for you

Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage

Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage

And someone will say what is lost can never be saved

Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage

OOO, you're smart.  I didn't post the last line because I have been saved. Once and for all.

Hal, help me understand the Jewish viewpoint.  When someone dies, what happens next?  I think I've heard you mention heaven.  Does Judaism teach that all people go to heaven?  Is there an alternative?

When I was in high school a friend of mine said that when she died she would be "worm food" and that's it.  She was Jewish but I don't know if that was a Jewish teaching or just her own opinion.

The Christian view, as you know is that after death, the person goes to either heaven or hell.  Salvation, or being saved, means being saved from hell and being able to go to heaven.

Can anyone elaborate on the wmscog view?
