My brother in law watched this movie (I’m assuming in church) and he is sad because he cant believe what Mother and Father have endured. So has anyone asked Zang how it was hanging from a cross (a cross that they are not allowed to even look at or hang on walls) or any Biblical history from that event?? Not to mention Ahn and Zang are 2 entities so now there are 4 people hanging on crosses…Zang, Ahn and 2 thieves /robbers…also doesnt it say in the Bible Jesus will come back to Earth just as he left. So where are the holes in her hands and wrists?

For one, the church believes that “cross reverence is idolatry.” Our Father in Heaven was never crucified. His son Jesus suffered greatly, was crucified, and died for our sins. In the old testament God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. It was prophetical to Jesus being sacrificed for our sins. ASH is NOT our Father in Heaven even though the church believes it to be.

Thanks Mayor! I still dont understand the cross being idolatry. No one prays to the cross or actual worships it to that extent. They could say the same about the butterfly emblem for the cog. Its just another thing to control. No where in the Bible does it say the cross is an idol worship. If anything it talks about the significa5of the cross….?

True. In the cog evidence book, there are pictures of a former pope bowing down to the cross. The cog considers the cross an object of worship. I’m okay with that. The old testament and new testament Hebrews never had a cross in the temple.

@Abbafather The Wms messes up here because of translation errors. They reference aJeremiah scripture where it says the Lord commands the Isrealites to, “have no sacred stone”. When a person digs deeper, the translation speaks of not keeping a “kneeling” stone. Many of the Jews had sinned by kneeling to pray, something Jews then (don’t know about not) were forbidden to do. If they were forced to read from another translation, their studies sometimes crunble

Isn't it funny that WMS teaches their members that crosses (in whatever format) are idols?!  So their members don't make the cross their idols – instead their idols are a couple of Korean scammers! Makes perfect sense!

Ms Freedom yes perfect sense…its not ok to hang a cross on your walls to signify the crucifixion of our Lord and Savior but its ok to worship 2 human beings….its so frustrating!
