Hey guys the other day I watched a new movie called “The Giver” starring Jeff Bridges and Merryl Streep.
The plot of the movie is a futuristic world community in which all human beings are being completely controlled over their memories, emotions,feelings and decisions, the most interesting thing about the movie is that there is a female figure played by Merryl Streep which is the chief elder, similar to mother @ WMS, and she is in charge of every little aspect over all communities’ decisions and rules.
There is young man named Jonas that is choosen to spent time with the giver played by Jeff Bridges and this is when he starts realizing there is something wrong with this community and that everyone in it it’s been drugged or brainwashed from the joy and reality of the world.
I won’t give any more details but please if you have a chance, watch this movie and see for yourself all the similarities with WMS, and that this is the kind of world this cult would like to have.
