This just in guys! I chatted with my brother thru facebook and I gave him a site that says something about "Emperor Constantine" not abolishing the Sabbath day and that Christians started worshipping in Sundays 288 years even before Constantine was born. This is his UNBELIEVABLE REPLY: It doesn't matter who did it, the important thing was that someone did abolish it thus fulfilling the prophecy in the Bible. Believe the Bible, not the people that spread the lies" It was really, really at the tip of my tongue to ask him if he was an idiot, but I held it in since I've read that I couldn't convince him that way. But really, can't he get anymore stupidier in joining that stupid cult?
So I asked him (as uninsulting as I could), But how did you know that Constantine did it? What is your proof that it is not a lie? Do you have a book or something that confirms it? He STUPIDLY replied again, "DUH! It's in the Bible, it's a prophecy, you can't really know who would do it. That's why its called a prophecy!"
I think I just pulled most of my hairs off out of exasperation. If the situation wasn't so funny, I would have cried myself to death!!

I knew this as well and brought it up several times, well, beyond several times and always got some kind of convoluted answer such as you did here. Once the minders can instill that arrogance into someone, it's pretty much over until some event hits that person in the soul and shakes them back to reality. This can take moments, days, weeks or even years but I think, hope, everyone will wake up. 31.5 days left till the END OF PREACHING. IT'S OVER. Direct your brother to Michael Rood videos on youtube and he'll get most of the real deal biblically speaking.

elievalkyrie, if you want to try knocking some sense back into your brother, try argueing some points that dont fit.
like :
if its a super secret knowledge thats hidden for centuries, then why do they spread it to almost anybody they meet? where the “secret mana” part on that?
they claimed anh sanghong as being prophesied in the bible with that verse about the raptor from the east, that verse supposedly written in patmos island, try drawing a line eastward from patmos, they sure skips ALOT of countries, what reason does it have to end in south korea? its on the “corner” of the world? sure IF the earth is flat.
they also claimed that anhsanghong complete the throne of david time spans? just check all over the world how many preachers strated preaching in 1948 and died in 1985, i can be sure ALOT.
or you can just ask him to stop paying tithes and give offerings, that almost a sure shot ways of unveiling the devine holy reason of wnscog loving.
No, the wmscog says their po was abolished to be replaced with Easter. They say way you keep the Jewish feasts, hal, was made obsolete when Jesus came.

True but the WMSCOG's argument is that pesach was abolished in favor of easter. You just can not go and say something was abolished and then realize it is still being practiced.
but the WMSCOG teaches Jews have physical salvation from Passover they keep actually (at least in Ahn's writings)

Well they say, now, that they never said 2012 was the end of the world and substituted that with saying what they really said was it's the end of preaching. That was their damage control attempt. So be it. No more preaching.

It was changed hal. So all christians are cursed blah blah blah. The feast you keep is different from what the wmscog keeps. But they’re only cursed if you believe jesus isn’t god and god can’t change his laws.
Actually he isn’t keeping easter in the photos they just named Easter after the resurrection in Korean rather than the Germanic goddess so it translates Easter even when it isn’t
This is the one that really gets me. I think it might be the boldest lie that they tell. Constantine did not abolish the sabbath. I could see how you might say that he changed passover to easter, if you had done no reading at all on the event that they're talking about. The First Nicene Council. Just five minutes on wikipedia destroys everything they're teaching.
"As early as Pope Sixtus I, some christians had set Easter to a sunday in the lunar month of nisan." Pope Sixtus, Pope from 114-124. And they were already celebrating easter.
Or how about: "the council did not decree that Easter must fall on a sunday. This was already the practice almost everywhere."
It doesn't matter if they mean the jewish pesach, the "christian passover", the egyptian pa-khonsu, or the Holi festival of the hindus.
What they are saying. Did. NOT. HAPPEN! Just like the stupid "10 kingdoms" prophecy crap-ola, there is absolute, 100%, historical evidence that the WMSCOG is lying directly to your face. They're not just lying to make up a good story so you'll believe in them, they're lying to get into your pocketbook. And then they want you to get ten friends to join up so they can get 10% from them too. It's that simple.
Sorry for the rant, but my lady has been going to preach or "study" with them nearly everyday for the past two or three weeks. Its really escalated recently, and it's been weighing on my mind.
