The Tsarnaev family hails from the Russian republic of Chechnya and fled the brutal wars there in the 1990s. The two brothers were born in Kyrgyzstan.

An FBI official said Saturday agents interviewed Tamerlan Tsarnaev in 2011 at the request of the Russian government. The FBI said Russia claimed he was a follower of radical Islam and a strong believer, and that he had changed drastically since 2010.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev apparently became increasingly radical in the last three or four years, according to an analysis of his social media accounts and the accounts of family members. But so far, there is no evidence of active association with international jihadist groups.

Good Afternoon everyone hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. Today I was reading this article about one of the suspects of the terrific bombings in Boston the past week. Paying attention to this article I read that first the world RADICAL is used to describe his Islamic faith. Also that HE CHANGED DRASTICALLY SINCE 2010. This is the reason why is very important for us to define if the WMSCOG is a cult or not because we know that we were there and how bad we wanted the kingdom of Heaven. But we also know that we would do ANYTHING that they asked to reach this goal. When the Diconess told me that she will do Anything for Father and Mother I asked her (two years ago) Does that include killing yourself or others?? she exclamend NO!! however you just said ANYTHING… then she was like “Father and Mother will never ask their children to damage others or themselves.” Well Ladies and Gentlemans I do not think so because Father and Mother do not want you to have contact with certain people, they dont want you to see your family that often, they do not for any instance want you to go shopping and have economical freedom, they do not want you to talk to any members that left after you shared YEARS with them and you do consider them like a brother or a sister. They dont want you to care about having a future family and your own children because all of the previous reasons that I mentioned before will not let them attain their goals that know they made you believe are your goals.

I often heard the Pastor asking HOW MANY BAPTISMS WERE MADE?? in a specific house church or branch church and let me tell you something that is for instance a BUSINESSMAN worry on how much profit he will be making the next month.

For any members that are visiting this site please do not take this post personal because this is not against you. You still in another world, in a Jail and it is not your fault if anyone have left the WMSCOG.

It seems that the message its been misunderstood, Or for any instance I did not ventilated correctly what I wanted to say and compare about this topic.

For all WMSCOG current members that visit the forum I do want to apologize.

I also want to clarify that I am not trying to say that WMSCOG members are terrorists because that is not the matter in this post and so far that is not true. The most important and main reason why I posted this, Is because I do want to know for sure if I was part of a cult or not. We know how tragic many cults have ended and how much psychological damage is left after being part of a cult and if I need to be treated by specialist for my mental health I will definitely do it.

I also want to Clarify to TIME that this apology is mainly for he/she, and I want to THANK YOU for letting me know about how the message was received. Unfortunately in your point of view we are in opposite places of the story, in my point of view we are in the same side because I was there, where you are. It was not my intention to hurt anyone but to make a point.

jellybean, ty for your post.  clarifying is better than ambiguity/being vague.  I will only address Dr. Lifton's theme of "Dispensing of Existence" here.

Dispensing of existence may be viewed in varying degrees.  Obviously with terrorism and/or genocide, the dispensing of existence is literal – those outside of the group have lesser rights, sometimes no rights at all and the chosen are completely justified (in their own minds) in blowing them up, etc.

Dispensing of existence also shows itself in lesser degrees as well.  "We" are chosen while "they" are not.  "We" can deceive them (think: soft food, hard food) because they are "spiritual infants".  It is justified to lie to the outsiders.

"We" may dispense the existence of our family members.  "They" are now not of the chosen.  "We" have a new father, a new mother, new brothers and sisters, (and new friends), thus members have dispensed the existence of their family and replaced them with in-group members thereby creating a new environment in which we communicate and receive feedback.  This latter point is most salient.

The UCLA website has an article by one of their professors regarding these two brothers.  The article defines these two as "lone wolf" operators.  In this environment, as the professor describes, the brothers are isolated from outside feedback.  Their beliefs and ideologies, as the professor describes, are looped withing the lone wolf environment – outside feedback is absent and thus an alternative belief system has no opportunity to present itself…the bombing in Boston was assured on the day it occurred as it was the day it was conceived in their minds.

The limiting and/or isolating of one's belief system is the salient point here.  Jesus taught that what is whispered in private shall be proclaimed from the mountaintops….Proverbs says to obtain many counselors.  How does my group act?  [Oh wait, that's right, this site is run by Satan  *rolls eyes*].
