Some may want to see this new play and read the article about it.
Kraine Theater, 85 E. Fourth St., Manhattan.

UntouchableJParticipantThis is actually ground breaking. Im sure WMS is stewing, but this is much needed.

MountainMomParticipantI want to see this! That girl is so brave and so obviously talented. So happy for her and her family! I think everyone should find a way to get to one of the performances. I bet the Wms plants a few people there! I want to support her.
February 15, 2016 at 7:17 PM #70176
MountainMomParticipantYou know, maybe the Wms won't plant anyone there because they might actually see how ridiculous their cult is and wake up! Anyway, I hope this gets promoted all over and that some people besides just the ones in the immediate area come!
February 15, 2016 at 8:54 PM #70177
UntouchableJParticipant@Mountain I’d bet 20bucks they plant someone there. Ever notice how overly guilty people are really paranoid (impulsive liars, theives etc). Thats how WMS acts. They are always paranoid. This woman did the best thing, by keeping the name of the “cult” anonymous. That way she can’t be sued.

Hank FordParticipantI saw her picture in the paper, she is a really pretty girl, seems very sweet, hope it's a great show!
Paper says, it's a comedy! LMAO?
February 16, 2016 at 2:01 AM #70179
JoshuaParticipantShe is on Facebook. I've already given her a shout out. You should all encourage her for not only being so brave but to keep it going.
February 16, 2016 at 7:43 PM #70180
Jesus_will_set_u_freeParticipantKudos!! I happen to know this girl and her personal story with the church. I truly admire that she is doing all these things and she is not being afraid to stand for herself, NOT for fame or money, but to help other people that unlike her haven't been able to free themselves from this group!
February 17, 2016 at 10:07 AM #70181
AzulaParticipantI wish I could see the play, it sounds like it was well thought out. The cult is really beginning to anger the wrong people, the kind of folks who don't just disappear after leaving but the kind who take an active stand against their destructive behaviours. Well done to her!

Hank FordParticipantI went to the show with a friend and it was great!!!
The theater was a little over half full but it was a Tuesday night and the weather was horrible all day.
Nice little theater holds about 130 people. There were a couple of glitches mostly with the theater itself. Loud noise coming from a machine in back that was eventually turned off. She didn't use a microphone but once the machine was turned off you could hear fine.
She never uses the name of the cult she was in so if you come in off the street you won't know what cult she was in.
No doubt she was in a cult though, her story sounds just like everybody else.
The show was part informational, part drama and VERY funny. There were a couple of disturbing parts too.
You could tell who the ex members were in the audience because we would start to laugh before the joke was over and a little longer than everyone else. I had a nice chat with a couple of guys who were ex-JW's they loved the show too.
You could also tell she is tight with her family and she credits them and their family love for saving her. That part is a tear jerker and I could easily pick her family out in the crowd, especially her Dad, LOL. Bring a tissue next time Dad! (btw, security was tight but not overwelhming or threatening just a couple of really big, friendly guys. They were very nice guys but I don't think anyone would want to mess with them!) The audience was mostly young people and very supportive. It was a real fun night!
Best part: Her exit counselor was a guy name Barry who IMO, had to be Steve hassan. I've watched his video's and her impersonation of him was so perfect!! Overall, I give her show 2 thumbs up! She is a talented and fearless lady! Brava!

That's quite a review, Hank, well done, LOL

UntouchableJParticipantWe are def. going to see this play.

MountainMomParticipantI talked to someone who was at the play last night. Big crowd and great support for Diana! I love this. It really makes my day!

Please do go, and get as many people as you can to go as well. This is very important, not only to warning people about the effects of cults on families, but also for healing after involvement. So happy you are out of that place! And thank you for having the courage to be vocal. If it weren't for people like you, Diana Brown, and others, the Wms would continue to run rough shod over their members and their families.
February 29, 2016 at 6:20 PM #70187
MountainMomParticipantJust heard from a former member who sometimes gets the opportunity to talk to current members. The ex member said Diana Brown's play is HUGE and the members are really buzzing all over Jersey. Also, this ex member is saying that the church is now scrambling to change some things. I know they have been on a campaign for a while to cover up their control over members. Let's not let them hide.
February 29, 2016 at 11:36 PM #70188
UntouchableJParticipant@Mountain So happy to hear that. For lack of better words, the Korean leadership are “Nerds”. They try Soooooo hard to change appearances, but won’t try to Change the behavior. I see their downfall coming soon. When they quote the scripture; “If these men be for God, let them be…their works will not fail”. Well WMS, (especially the Cult Research team that is reading this) your failing. People see the truth.
March 2, 2016 at 2:06 PM #70189
MountainMomParticipantI have heard that this play is drawing standing room only crowds every night, and that it is drawing a lot of attention outside the theater itself. By that I mean that there have been articles and reviews in the North Jersey Record, the largest paper in the state. The review I read was extremely positive.
The Wms doesnt like being made fun of, but this play has a lot of comedy in it. I wonder how the leaders are handling it?
March 2, 2016 at 3:05 PM #70190
UntouchableJParticipant@Mountian Knowing the leaders, they are stewing. The Overseer would often bring up things that affect the church, so Its a safe assumption.

I wonder if they will sue her???
March 2, 2016 at 6:05 PM #70192
UntouchableJParticipant@Hank The woman does a great job of NOT naming WMS by name, so I dont think WMS will have a leg to stand on.

Mayor and MikeParticipantGod bless you
