This is a formal challenge to all WMSCOG members. The challenge is for you to find for me anywhere in the Bible the phrase, “god the mother.” You can find God the Father, Son of God, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, God the Holy Ghost. Your task is to show me, “god the mother” word for word. Your time starts now.

ElievalkyrieParticipantAh yes, I think they said that someone who dies either goes to "paradise"(which is different from heaven) or "purgatory". I wonder what verse in the Bible did they use to support this idea?

MountainMomParticipantSomeone I know in the wmscog told his Dad who has never been anything but great to him that he was going to "burn in hell in the lake of fire" because he didn't believe in the Mother. So if they don't teach that, why would he say that.

ElievalkyrieParticipantI guess his son was talking about the last judgement. They are a very judgy lot for someone who teaches humility. lol.

Love'n HoneyParticipantThey teach that physical death isn’t judgement. There are prisons in the spiritual world where jesus preached. That’s where people are held after death if they didn’t die in the truth.
Speaking about death, this guy in my class says he was considered legally dead for about 5 minutes when he was a child. But he said he didn’t have an out of body experience. No bright. Light or fire or anything. He said it was a lot like being put to sleep for surgery. One second you’re awake, the next you’re waking up. Like a jump through time if it makes any sense.
December 11, 2012 at 5:20 PM #46130
ElievalkyrieParticipantMaybe he forgot about it? You know like when we dream sometimes, we totally forget about it the moment we wake up.
December 11, 2012 at 6:06 PM #46131
Love'n HoneyParticipantBut we know we dreamed. We know we went to sleep. He said he remembered being awake and then waking up. He doesn’t remember falling asleep. But perhaps his experience was simply forgotten. But it still makes me question what people say happens when you die.

The verse about being preached (in 1 peter?) and people not being thrown into the lake of fire till the last day (Rev 20) and wheat being collected at the last day in the wheat and weeds parable

SimonParticipantA lot of OBEs are contradictory accounts.
December 11, 2012 at 7:14 PM #46134
Love'n HoneyParticipantObe?
December 11, 2012 at 7:17 PM #46135

Love'n HoneyParticipantOh, i was guessing opinion based evidence…. =)

SimonParticipantgood thing you asked 😛 lol

LOL. I guess it is what they are claiming. And they said that the dead people that didn't know about god the mother will be preached by Jesus and they still have a choice whether to believe in her or not. If I think about it a story-like setting… I'm dead (might suffering in hell for how many years already), suddenly I saw Jesus and He told me "god the mother exist! believe and be saved!" OFCOURSE I would believe that! Is there any other choice? LOL.
Wonder how they would reconcile that concept with what Jesus narrates in Lk 16:19-26
December 12, 2012 at 5:41 AM #46139
SimonParticipantWhat's to reconcile
December 12, 2012 at 1:51 PM #46140
emilParticipantIn that passage from Lk 16 Jesus clearly says there is no coming back from Hell. So who exactly is being preached to about god the mother?
December 12, 2012 at 3:05 PM #46141
SimonParticipantExcept that the WMSCOG doesn't teach there is coming back from hell o.o

I don't know about wms but other churches teach your in a deep sleep (spiritual) and your not in heaven or hell.
December 12, 2012 at 3:39 PM #46143
SimonParticipantYes WMSCOG teaches that too
December 12, 2012 at 3:53 PM #46144
Love'n HoneyParticipantYou don’t go to heaven or hell right after death. You have to wait until judgment day.
December 13, 2012 at 1:39 AM #46145
Love'n HoneyParticipantI don’t follow your tanakh
