I understand what you mean. However, you must understand that in terms of sheer number of people involved, mainstream Christianity has these cults dwarfed by comparison.

I'm not sure whether it's a flaw in the software or some sneaky cult sabotage, but when I enable registrations I get bombarded with 50-100 spam accounts a day. I have a message at the top of my site asking people to email me in order to register, but I guess that's easily missed.
