This morning I was in church listening to a true man of God. Part of the message that he spoke I wish to share with you. We were reading out of the book of Samuel. As you might or might not be aware this book chronicles the life of David and King Saul. We were in 1 Samuel 24 where King Saul had taken an elite force to hunt down and kill David. We got to the part where King Saul went into the cave where David and six hundred men were hiding. King Saul had gone into the cave to get a bit of a break from the hot sun. Davids men saw this as God delivering their enemy unto them and encouraged David to kill him. David, very quietly, went up to Saul and instead of killing him simply cut off a piece of the Kings robe. In this day and age this could very well have been seen as a assault or attempted murder of the King. At this point Davids conscience began to bother him because of what he had done. Saul left the cave and mounted his horse to leave. At this point David made his presence known. David yelled after Saul and bowed to the king with the piece of material in his hand. David was humble at this point but made it clear that he had cut this piece of the Kings robe when he could have killed Saul.

There is much more to this story but what I was hit with was that God has given each of us a conscience. Our conscience is a built in warning system! We can dull our conscience by repeatedly ignoring it. Many members and former members now have told me that when they first learned the teachings of the WMSCOG they thought that something was wrong! Many experienced extream confusion and almost lost their ability to think straight. Was their conscience warning them that this is wrong? I believe it was! What happened next? They went back and did a few more studies.What did this do to them? It started to dull their internal warning system. After a while they started relearning the same studies they had already gone over. Their internal warning system was still going off but it was much less intense and now they had been convinced that there was some other reason for their confusion. Satan was trying to confuse them. Was it Satan? Sure it was! When did the confusion start? When they first heard the teachings of the WMSCOG. These people knew there was something wrong but over time they dulled their own conscience with the repetishious teachings of the WMS. Preaching practice, prayers to memorize, studies to learn and teach to other people. Repeat, Repeat, Repeat!

Members, your conscience has been dulled but it is not dead! You feel that something is wrong! Even as you have been reading these words your spirit has been calling out. I will say this simply. You are in a bad place! You have had the wool pulled over your eyes! Your conscience has been dulled! You have been mislead by the WMSCOG under the guise of the love of mother.

Read more of what David did. He humbled himself and he did not fall for the peer pressure that the six hundred men around him had. David shined a light in the face of death. Come out of the WMSCOG.
