There is one trait that I believe all if not most of the WMSCOG members or former members had upon their recruitment. It was lack of biblical knowledge. One reason we are so amazed when we join is becuase they "answer" our questions. The church gets happy because we had an "open" mind and listened. I can honestly say for myself, I had very little biblical knowledge upon my recruitment. I was amazed at the things the WMSCOG would teach because they made sense. It was all coming from the bible after all. So it must be true right? Not exactly.

Now if a WMSCOG member tries to recruit someone who has studied the bible well and is very knowledgeable in the scriptures, what the WMSCOG says doesn't sound as amazing to such a person.  Why? It's because they have studied themselves to find answers. So when they are approached by a WMSCOG member, they are not easily fooled. Ofcourse, to those people, the WMSCOG say they are to blind to see the truth and have a closed mind. Is that really it? No. Not all were blind or closed minded. They were biblicaly knowledgeable enough to see that there was error in the teachings of the wmscog.

The way the WMSCOG works, is that you must study and learn the bible their way. Not your way or someone else's way. Just theirs, because they are right and you are wrong. From the beginning the fear is inflicted that shouldn't dare question anything and just "have faith". Jesus Christ revealed Himself to His followers in different ways to show He was the Christ. However, the supposed "2nd coming christ" of the wmscog never did. What happens is, first you must stick to an order of studies. Then when the wmscog feel your "ready" they begin preaching to you about the 2nd coming and more "in-depth on heavenly mother".

They are very careful in the way they preach things and the way they "reveal" things at certain times. When I was there, I had to preach subjects a certain way inorder to pass. This fact itself should give people suspsion about this church. The apostles and disciples in the new testament, never had to go by a  certain curriculum or some guidelines or a specific way of preaching. However, in the wmscog, you can't preach subjects your way. Even if it's the same main point being made. You have to pass a course, then you are allowed to preach a subject.

This church's biggest focus is works. You must work. Wether it's working hard to learn their subjects or working hard to go preach. They are heavely based on works. They claim to have faith, but really they don't. It's not faith. To them in order to gain more faith, requires more work on your part. If you can't stick to all the regulations that are taught, you have "little or weak faith". To those who are firm in keeping regulaitons, they are known as the people with strong faith. You are required to be present at all feasts, weekly services and you must give tithes and offerings. Or else your in danger of hell.

The members seem very happy all the time their. However, I can assure you that not all of them are actually really happy. When I was their, I did "seem" happy. But in actuality I was just following what everyone else was doing because I couldn't let anyone think I didn't have "faith". Everyone would be very nice. Afterall, you must be nice for the new members. It all felt as if you must behave or act a certain way or else God will never except you. Every act I did was mainly because of fear. It didn't come out the pureness of my heart I could feel it. Can anyone relate?

This church is so paranoid about loosing members. They make it clear that we can't do anything with any church member outside of church, unless it's a church activity. You can't date or see anyone. Heck you can't even fix their car. The church says you shouldn't go on the internet or socialize with other people. Especially if they are fallen members or have different beliefs. They have such a fear of people "falling away" that they forbid you to do things. If you are disabled, too poor or homeless or have some kind of condition that will keep you from working, then this church more than likely will not preach to you. And "fallen members" are the devil. You cannot speak to them.

In conclusion there is just way to much nonsence in this church. I mean just look over to the expiriences I had and they way this church is.There is no love of God their. Just fake and fixed love. God is not about behavior modification, but He is about heart tranformation. Jesus Christ changed many lives. He never held them accountable because they didn't do this or do that. He forgave them and showed them love regardless of what they did. Remember what Jesus said to the prostitute – "Neither do I condemn you, now go and sin no more" This was all He said to her. Her life changed after. Why? because she felt the love and forgiveness, and not fear of keeping the rules and regulations. People surrender to God whole heartedly not becuase of fear or because of certain things they must do first. They give their lives to Him because He did not condemn them but loved them.
