I just wanted to begin this thread to start the discussion on the WMSCOG's teaching that the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) is the beast spoken of in Daniel chapters 2 & 7 and Revelation chapters 13 & 17. It startes off:
Daniel 7:25
25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.
Listen to you guys contradict yourselves. First the beast is is the 3 1/2 year literal reign of a pagan emperor (who does not fulfill the prophecy completely) Then one of you says that it hasn’t happened yet. Then one of you says that the little horn came before Christ. Then one of you starts a thread trying to call us the beast. You people just make things up as you go along.
You guys are all over the place, none of you knows anything about anything and with every word you post you prove how every other forum member is wrong. You all have different and delusional interpretations.
But Father and Mother have revealed the truth about kings and kingdoms, and made contentious people like you easy to spot for their contradicting and hippocritical interpretations, people who add or subtract from the bible where they please.

144000, I see you are avoiding the questions again. The more you do that the more it looks like you have no answers. Like I would tell my children, why spend so much time and effort to avoid something when it would be much better to just face it?

I am not a Catholic, but I don't believe for a second that the RCC is evil. And I know that is not what Disturbed meant either. I did see a video running in the cafeteria area in the wmscog while I was there once,though, that was definitely villifying the RCC. It was very disturbing to see a video promoting religious hatred running non stop in a church. Never saw that anywhere else, ever, before or since.

You are now contradicting yourself. You said that teaching came before the wmscog. You are the guys adding and subtracting from the bible. Answer my point that the bible shows the little horn came before Christ.

That is an assumption based on false information. The RCC worships THE one Christ. The wmscog worships two humans. There is no comparison between the two.

Whether it is SDA, JW or WMSCOG, the biggest single target church has been the catholic church. Targeting it is purely a marketing strategy. When a new cola was introduced in our country, their Ads targetted Coke and Pepsi. Even a small market share stolen from the giants is big numbers for the Johnny-come-lately. This is the strategy employed.
It is the same with the so-called passover. Having spun off from the SDA, they needed a differentiation for marketing. Exit the Sabbath as a seal and enter Passover.
The WMSCOG is a marketing organization selling sub-standard stuff by denouncing the existing players who it tries to replace. Even the target demographic is chosen on marketing principles.
It helps them immensely that so many catholics, especially younger ones, know very little of the bible and about authentic catholic teaching and fall for what they are told is catholic teaching.

Oh is that so? The RCC does that? Some individual priests gone bad does not make the RCC evil. There have been bad priests and even bishops. In the past there have even been bad popes. But that does not make the church evil. What makes a church evil is evil teachings and doctrines.
The evil individuals in the RCC are not exclusive to the RCC. They are a reflection of how evil society as a whole has become. Such individuals are everywhere, in every church, in every non-church.
