I kind of understand not celebrating some of the holidays(alot of them are man made traditions) but the thing I dont understand is how extreme members take it. My husband wont even eat candy if its out of a bag with Christmas decor on it. He wont even say Christmas. He says God Bless You if someone says Merry Christmas to him…so annoying I could scream. Also NOT eating food that has been prayed over in Jesus name is so horrible to me!! Also he took down all the crosses in the house. I still have yet to see a verse in the Bible that says crosses are against God….I cant wrap my brain around it. Where in the Bible are the prayer times? I think they are 2:30 and 7 oclock…my husband has an alarm on his phone?! Just curious about some of these topics.

Think that all things happen for a reason, Perhaps this is God's way of telling you that you must seek him and learn more about him in order not to be decieved. Sometimes we don't understand things in life, but as time goes by we can reflect back and see why it had to be that way.

so did you bring up the fact that they said 2012 was the end and the last passover, did they tell them over there the same thing, that mother prayed for more time?
that was the key point right there to open up their eyes, but they are still blind, they accept the reason Father did not come this year as predicted by them.
What would they say if Mother was to pass away, why does a mother god need to live on this sinful earth for so many years, when she has a glorious trone up in heaven??
Jesus was here for 3 years, Ahn for 37 and mother almost 70 yrs??? is this a prohecy???? something to ask
Thanks. As the Scripture says, God's thoughts are greater than ours. We don't need Scripture to tell us our thoughts are flawed. We have plenty of other evidence for that. I read in this thread that a cult isn't just about false doctrine. But according to God it is. I think people have added to the meaning of herecy to justify what they're doing. Looking into every religion that involves Jesus including the different sects of Christianity, everyone is preaching something different from one another. Scripture says that a different gospel is no gospel at all however there are people out there like the WMSCOG who are preaching something different from the bible. Though, these other denominations seem to be more accepted because they aren't stealing from the members. According to Scripture, anything different from the bible is no gospel at all and is herecy whether the organization is breaking families or bringing them together; stealing money or giving money.
I remember in another thread I was describing what I thought to be a cult and realized that my "definition" didn't make any sense. Some examples came up that the military is a cult. Then after reading what other people described to be a cult I realized that my own family is a cult. But this is based off of man's flawed thought process. According to the Scripture, my family is not a cult and neither is the military because neither of them are "churches" teaching a different gospel about Jesus. There are people within my family and the military who preach about Jesus but my family and the military are not cults by God's definition which, I believe, is the only definition that matters.
You know all the scriptures I have read (I think this is on one these threads too, I don't remeber which one) state that the appointed will still come, regardless of everything else. God is faithfull and true, but I guess now we are supposed to ignore all of God's integrity that is stated in the bible. It just doesn't add up…..
You know, the elect, the ones that believe in Jesus and the apostles teachings, even though they have been decieved for a time will come out of the lies and into the truth. They are the elect after all. As these people leave the lies the leaders of the group twisting our Christian doctrine try to convince others in their group not to talk to those that have left. I might get a lot of flack for this but Jesus never taught about a mother god and none of the apostles ever taught about a mother god. Jesus and Paul even spoke that if anyone comes around preaching a different doctrine not to believe them. Also if anyone says, "Jesus is in the wilderness or in the temple" do not believe them. I'm going with Gods Word on this one! If you are not in agreement with what has been shared here then I suggest that you start researching on your own because it's something ungodly inside of you that is controling you at this point. If you studied your way in then you will most likely have to study your way out. Take this confusion and/ or uneasiness as a hint that you need to find the truth for yourself. Can I get an Amen?
