Questions for some ex-members

I kind of understand not celebrating some of the holidays(alot of them are man made traditions) but the thing I dont understand is how extreme members take it. My husband wont even eat candy if its out of a bag with Christmas decor on it. He wont even say Christmas. He says God Bless You if someone says Merry Christmas to him…so annoying I could scream. Also NOT eating food that has been prayed over in Jesus name is so horrible to me!! Also he took down all the crosses in the house. I still have yet to see a verse in the Bible that says crosses are against God….I cant wrap my brain around it. Where in the Bible are the prayer times? I think they are 2:30 and 7 oclock…my husband has an alarm on his phone?! Just curious about some of these topics.

I used to be but I deactivated it for about a year now. It is actually illuminati inspired. Don’t ask me what that means. Lol. I’m weird. 🙂

Try the ” wishful thinking” thread. I know they have been talking of a FB set up.

Thanks for all the comments! WMS does ruin every family get together/holiday etc. Also let me reiterate about the praying thing. For example Thanksgiving was ruined bc a famly prayed over the food and said in jesus name amen…..well my husband and another family member (part of the WMS) refused to eat. from what I read about AHn he prayed in Jesus name so I was confused and dont get it and it made me immeditely sick to my stomach. As far as the cross they dont have many Bible verses to back up why they dont hang them up in their church dont wear them etc. They have a ga-zillion Bible verses for everything else (I mean they are rose picked and jump around) but not for why the cross is an idol or whatevs!

IN JESUS NAME I PRAY, AMEN. FOREVER.

well iljc going back to what I said about the sun it would be proper to adjust prayer times with the sun not so sure on their calculations though and youre right about prayer and control

Even if their times were perfect that isn’t their concern

Definitely Simon…cults arent cults necessarily because of the Doctrine that is taught but more about the control and the actions of the members. My husband is extremey funny and outgoing and the red flag that went up for me when he started to study this was all the sudden he had a somber demeanor…its like the joy was stolen right out from under him. So regardless if the times of prayers are correct I believe it was mostly about just having one more thing to control the members with…thanks for all the comments. Im trying to get my husband to not go to Passover in a few days and I need all the support and positive vibes as possible! This is extremely hard especially reading all the couples that have broken up or families that have been torn apart because of this church:(

I know by experience from my friend, that no one not even satan will keep them from doing the passover.

My friend told me once that the church warns them that the devil will try to stop them from keeping the passover, some will get into accidents, delayed, or have conflicts with family.  That Satan will use people especially family members as a tool to stop them.

They will go regardless of what you say, the passover is a big feast for them, one of the most important ones, it is the sign of protection from destruction, when they keep the passover.

I'm sorry to say, no matter what your not going to be able to stop him from going, and your only going to push him further into them if you protest.  He is going to think they are right satan is trying to stop me from attending the passover, all the more of a reason to go.

My advice to you, don't fight it, let him go, because according to what my friend told me, if they had to choose between you and one of God's feast, you are secondary God comes first.

Jesus celebrated the passover in the N.T. so no matter what you say he is following God's example.

Thats awesome….not! So no matter what… if you miss the Passover you will go to Hell. Like for example if you 6 yrs in a row but miss one in between you will not get into Heaven. thats a lot of pressure and stress to put on someone. Something doesnt add up. It seems like they teach another Jesus…not only does Jesus have another name he doesnt even have the same personality, definitely not loving or forgiving.

2 Cor 11:4 For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough

So im the Devil because Im asking my husband to stay home. Nice! Does anyone notice the games that are being played? I have the best intentions….when you hear about families being torn apart by this cult I should just sit back and let him go….so I can stay home and worry while someone is filling his head with lies about me saying Im the bad guy. Im actually the only one that cares about him. They dont give a shit about him.

God doesnt play mind games or guilt people into doing stuff. They should want to do it. My husband is 100% being pressured into this and I find that sad.

I know how you feeling ILJC2013, and your right on this,

2 Cor 11:4 For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough

I tried to tell my friend, but he is kind of stubborn and his mind is set on, whoever brings back the passover is 2nd coming christ because only God can give salvation and Ahnsanghong was the one who bought back the passover.  It's not easy to speak with him, he has being molded to act, think, & responde to their liking.  By using the bible which contains God's true words, mixed with lies they have control over people, the final answer will be,  God said so, it's in the bible.

The best thing for you to do is to ask him questions that will get him thinking, questions you know from reading here that he has no answer to.  Work around him not against him (which would be the church) or you will risk losing him forever.

I understand and have been trying to do this but its so hard not to get defensive!! Do you think having an ex member call him will make a difference??

Am I going to be sued for trying to save a loved one and speaking out about this cult?

oh no honestly, I don't think having an ex-member call him will make a difference, if anything that will make things worst, because they also tell them that many will fall in the last days and so anyone who leaves the church does not belong to God, but to Satan.

Right now as we speak the other side is taking notes of what we say, so when a member approaches them with the question they already know what to tell them, because in part we are the ones who give them a heads up.

thanks to us, they have an answer to everything, so when the member hears it and then sees this site, automatically they think, wow the church is right, they told me this would happen, so you see how this becomes the we vs. them mentality.

the only way is to ask him questions and get him thinking, turn on that light bulb, how long has he been there and was he also told that 2012 was the end?  because my friend had told me that 2012 was the end and when I said happy new year we're still here, he stood quite, so I said it again, and asked him why are we still here.

His answer Mother prayed to Father so that we can have more time!  and just like that he accepted it.

Definitely said 2012 was the end. The TX location said last year was the last passover. its weird bc its like they forgot they said that and now asking my husband to come to Passover again this year….wow! How covenient that they asked for more time? When someone makes a prediction and it fails to come true that is false. Thats great that they have someone spying on us. it seems a little insecure to me. They are something else. I guess they like seeing other people hurt. All I have to say is Karma is a bitch. I will fight for my husband and continue to fight.

Thanks KF I had to edit my previous comment about having an ex member call him. Im sure the spy already read but I shouldnt use names bc I dont want to get in  trouble…now Im nervous. why cant they just let people be free to think for themselves?? Are they trying to control the world? That is insane…

You know, I was talking about what a cult is with a friend of mine. Are there any verses in the bible describing cults? I feel like I've seen one but can't find it.
