I know that members are not suppose to goto or into buildings with crosses on them, but what about other Church of God facilities which have no crosses anywhere on or in the building? Please help me understand this.

JoshuaParticipant
I have seen and heard about this before. When I spoke to a missionary down in California about getting some contact information for people in Washington the missionary admitted that they don't talk to people outside of their Zion. I was a little confused by this and I asked, "If all of the members of the WMSCOG are your brothers and sisters why wouldn't you have open communication with them?" The excuse I got was one of the lamest I had ever heard at the time. Now that I've gotten several years of dealing with these people under my belt it makes more sence. The excuse was that they did not want to risk cross contaminating between Zions. Like I said, lame excuse! Now that I've witnessed things like when a large number of long time members left the group in southern California I understand it better. The loss of people like Ron Ramos and Diane Sims shook the foundations of the WMSCOG. Could you imagine the impact if these people had friends in all of the Zions in the United States?
This group also uses the excuse, "We don't teach that in our Zion." This seems like a really lame excuse as well. Isn't the instructions from their mother god the same for all of the members? Don't they study the same materials and practice the same preaching methods? There should be nothing different between the teachings in each Zion.
I know this is not much of an expaination but this is what I have.

SimonParticipantOur Zion lost a lot of members when Ron left because Diane was still in contact and when she left people from our Zion found out and left (or something along those lines) so indeed if it wasn't the "disobedient" few but everyone in constant contact that would definetly have caused a major disruption. Plus the differences in how things are taught and stuff would become more obvious

DisturbedParticipantThey also don’t want people communicating with those in other locations because the lies they tell are inconsistent. One church may give a date about “father’s” coming but it’s not given to other locations. Another location may say “mother said” XYZ lie and again it’s not repeated at other locations. It’s too hard to control the people if everyone communicated with each other.

Abhigail DelemaParticipantThe wmscog assembly tells its members not to enter church of other denomination because it is babylon a place that belongs to satan. But i know of korean members who put their children in catholic shools in bandra which had idle all over the place called St joseph high school they use this school mainly for visa purpose so that they could get their children to india mumbai. I also know of a members daughter who goes to a catholic school called Durello convent and also attends cathacism cl*** in school, another members son goes to St Thersa school and does the same.when i asked them why are you sending your child to these calasses they say they have fear of their child being thrown out of school,so here we can clearly see they dont practise what they preach they do anything for their selfish gains. As i have also mentioned earlier in my post that one of their members who is a decan by the name of thomas got his daughter married in a catholic church hall with all idles around and the pastor john went for the marriage and tried to pray in that hall but he was stoped. One of their decan who died was also burried in a roman catholic church and they could not do anything about it so here we clearly see they do not practise what they preach. Now i just heard from my brother that another korean pastor has come to their zion in andheri i am lookin out for a way to try and send him back because i know for sure he has an illegal entry. I also heard that a member frm Mahim wanted to get admision for his son in a junior KG cl*** in St micheal school, but the catholic school asked him for church baptism certificate, but the church or zion refused but did not tell the member that they are not registered but are in the name of ELOHIM BIBLE group, and they have no rights to baptism, burrial, and marriage. So where are their teachings i have given some names so that the assemble and members who read this know it is the truth.

They are fighting to be considered another denomination. However, they still don't have the recognition as such and still have no status as a church..
It's part of the reason they are so strongly doing social service.. recognition and status as a denomination .. Not a Christian one
That's my understanding … But anyone with better and more concise info, correct me..

SimonParticipantWell when I was a member they were quite proud to not be a denomination and fought every time someone called them one.
Seeing as there is no authority of what makes a denomination they just are or aren't based on being a Christian church or not. I wouldn't know how anyone would seek to be a denomination

Interesting that when they applied to purchase the Catholic property in New York, they claimed to be a Christian church. That could be considered fraud since they normally separate themselves from main stream Christianity but claimed to be a part of it and hid behind it in order to garner the good graces of the nuns in order to purchase the property. Would Jesus do that? I think not. That my friends is deception that falls in the category of a LIE! Would the nuns have offered the property to them if they had been honest and told them they worshipped a Korean female god? Again, I think not. Once again, do as we say, not as we do (because what we do is scam people!)

Ms FreedomParticipantOne more thing about the Church of God…
When my child first got recruited in this cult, I asked what the name of the church was. I was told (by my child) that it was the church of god. Later when I learned that when you add "world mission" to it, it shows up as a cult on internet searches. Another deception! They want people to think it is a Church of God until they get them hooked. Then they are taught to continue the deception when they recruit others. Why would god (mother) teach her followers to deceive people? Because she's not a god – its a CULT!
