Hello All!

Does anyone know what month the "Interpretation on the New Jerusalem…" was published? I have tried to search on the ncpcog website, but I can't find anything. I want to know because as you all know, we were told that Ahnsahnghong revealed "Mother" in 1984 during Passover. However, this book was published IN 1984. It 100% doesn't make sense for Ahnsahnghong to reveal "Mother" in the same year that he speaks against the idea of a Mother God. I also think it would be quite awesome if he published this after 1984's Passover. Wouldn't that be a tell-tale sign for current members? hmmm…

EmilyParticipantThe Korean version of the book on the ncpcog site here (click on the last page tab) says that it was first published 7/18/1980 and republished again 10/20/1983.

emilParticipantOh. If it was published in 1980 and it was only to quash the Umm Sooin claim, and to be recalled later, why was it republished in October 1983? Strange.

Exactly. Considering the relatively small number of members back then, you'd think they got the message the first time. Why re-publish the book 3 years later? Remeber that the Moonies also had the "true parents" so one could argue that there was at least one other woman making a similar claim. The problem with that is that the Moonies were around way before Ahn's Witnesses. The Moonie "Divine Principle" which I would equate to the WMS green book, was first published in 1946. It is also interesting to mention that the whole "cloud means flesh" argument was in the "Divine Principle" so Ahn's false interpretation was less than original.

EmilyParticipantHere is the Moonie lecture on the "clouds mean flesh" argument here. Sounds almost identical to the wms study that I did but you decide.

EmilyParticipantAhn never claimed to be god either but the wms believes that he was/is.
The Moonies do believe that Moon was the SCC and the Messiah that came to complete Jesus' unfinished mission. Moon also divorced his first three wives before marrying Hak Ja Han.
The Moonies claim that you cannot get to heaven without having the "true parents" which is essentially the same thing that the wms claims regarding Ahn and Zhang. Not that different in my opinion.

Love'n HoneyParticipantI didn't know any of this! I wonder what the WMSCOG has to say about.. They emphasise that the book withdrawn but don't mention it was republished. When was it withdrawn? Please tell me it was before the 2nd publishing..

LoveParticipantYes The Korean version of the book Problem with New Jerusalem and women Veil was first published 7/18/1980 and republished again 10/20/1983. Church says the book was publish once and later Ahn Shang Hong Collected it to all and cancelled. Good Question is, then why did they publish it again? This Question can't be answer by WMSCOG and they always lied about this book. Now every one can guess what is their intension.
