This is one thing ive never understood. Why were we forced to say the "prayer of our wishes" (Wmscog version of the 'lord's prayer') aloud? Not only was that akward but we had to recite it ALOUD IN KOREAN!!!! I never understood this… Does God not understand our thoughts/hearts? If not, would he not understand it in english???
Can someone shed some light to why we had to do this?

oh yes i hate them with every fiber of my being, I hate them for how sleazy they are preying on innocent people, I hate them for what they can do to ruin people life…. But no i am not blinded to not see how crooked they are.

I am not saying you are blinded to them but to my point, just to clarify my point wasn't that she speaks some huge number of languages but that members BELIEVE she does.

LOL I heard in 2012 she had stopped praying for him to delay and was praying "please come" (mid year is when I heard this) gotta love how they change their tune

Folks, I have to play ignorant here. What exactly is this prayer? I know there is some psycology in making people memorize this stuff but what are these words that you are more or less forced to learn?
ultimately a prayer saying we know Ahnsahnghong is returning soon but we are not prepard asking for him to send his holy spirit so we may meet him without lack
Whether we really learn them or not I am not so sure seems to me we say them but don't really memorize them necessarily I have to think really hard to remember them myself.
I'm so glad I was never a member but it does handicap me in a way. This is why you ex-members and your testimonies are so powerful. For example; If I were to make a video it would not have the impact that Ron, Diane, or the folks who have posted theirs online have had. Peace and love to all of you and thank you for being with us.
The prayer is in Korean (and it is done everywhere in that language) because it is the language of Ahnsahnhong. No Iam not a member of this cult.

Me too. I was assured that Zahng will not die but will take the 144000 to heaven alive with her. And that if she does die, it would be a sure sign that the wmscog is a false church.
Yes, Genny. That was the belief, that she won’t die but will take the 144,000 with her. Interesting what man can come up with. My, my. Well…. Eyes are for seeing. You will think that with all the failed predictions that people still in doubt will believe and understand this cant be the universal God. Not a single one of their prediction will happen except that which God has made clear in His Word and, only When the real God is good and ready.
So there are two teachings:
1. Zhang will not die and when Ahn comes, she and the 144,000 (do they take this literally or not?) will go to heaven.
Question: Is Zhang the only one that will not die but also the 144,000? If you die early (let's say because you work too hard for the wmscog and had a stroke or something) then does that mean you were not part of the 144,000?
2. Zhang will die and that is the time Ahn will come and the 144,000 will ascend to Heaven.
Question: Is our zion the only one that teaches this or have you heard other zion that taught this kind of story?
Eli, I have no doubt this isn’t the way. Mama Zahng appeared out of nowhere. Just isn’t biblical one bit. The best thing is to study the last book in the bible – to understand. At least asking God for divine wisdom cause Revelation is really being added to and twisted. I

I wouldn't be surprised if some are being taught #2. After all she is going to die one day (she is human after all) and they will want to be able to keep their organization going. They can just say that she is allowing them more time to find the lost brothers and sisters, and that she has gone to join 'father' and will be watching to see if the members remain faithful.
About if you die early… I was told early on that no one in the wmscog dies (the Passover is supposed to protect from all disasters, including car accidents), but it appears that has changed or something, or at least it's another inconsistent teaching. But when you think about it, only 144000 are going to heaven alive (according to their teaching), so the rest are going to die after all. So even though thei=y are told the Passover will protect them from disasters, it's really only if you get one of the 144000 slots.
Please stop exagerrating, and please stop blatantly lying.
We do not "force" anyone to say the prayer in Korean. I in fact continue to say it in english because I have had a very hard time learning it in Korean.
I'm going to take a second to say that I've been to three west coast Zions, and been visited by two groups from the east coast. Just so you know that this is the real scoop on how we operate at large. Because I'm a little frustrated to see very rare exceptions, or people repeating something incorrectly, and then this website turns around and claims thats how we are -all of the time-.
So no, we don't. We are extremely cool about people saying the prayer in their native language. Its nice and respectful to learn the prayer in Korean, because thats the language heavenly mother chose to speak. But that is by no means a tenent of faith, its just something extra to do if your feeling super kosher. We always encourage "resembling" Father and Mother in every way possible, that is the extent of the logic provided thus.
Further, Heavenly Mother does speak english. I'm not exactly sure to what extent, but since I have actually talked with everyone in Zion on an almost daily basis for years, I actually know the reality of how things are going down, instead of some of the assumptions here.
Brother and sister share stories with me about how they had talks with Mother, and its very dear and special. One Sister had a very specific prayer that she said in private and in english, and was blown away when Mother repeated her same specific prayer during the next service.
Concerning other people who have been in the church for a long time, I replied to the "Missionary" video, perhaps that post will show up eventually. To give you a hint, that guy either doesn't know, or is intentionally omitting, the status quo of how we do things. He also claims that exceptions we in fact rarely use is somehow our regular "strategy".
Remember, the Internet is supposed to be avoided by wmscog so it amazes me when you guys appear here trying to defend it. Isn’t that contradicting. Whether she speaks or doesn’t speak doesn’t matter at this rate. What matters is, who is she and who does she say she is?
Again, not correct. More accurately we are told to be "careful" because the internet has a lot of hate in it.
I like to learn about the propoganda that is posted about us so that I know where people are coming from if they say "the WMS didn't use to preach to blacks" or that currently we've stopped praching to them either.
I'm going through the video as I type this, and that part right there just blew me way. That is absolutely false. For a VERY long time we've been preaching to and acceptign black members, and we tell them that they have hope for heaven, and we NEVER discriminate against race and say they cannot enter heaven.
In fact we have several black deacons, and a few black missionaries whom I know personally. They've been in the faith as long, if not longer than this supposed "missionary".
