Hello. March 25th at NJPAC the World Mission Society Church of God is going to have their Passover mass. A group of affected families and other organizations are going to join to picket it so that everybody will know the truth about who they are. If anybody wants to join the picket please send me a Private Message, don't publish it here and we will give you extra information. Thanks

Sarah2013ParticipantIt’s all about money.

SmurfParticipantThey are having PO here, at least until Mother takes them away. There were some speculations about 2014 or 2015 because there's a blood red moon precisely on Passover, which, statistically speaking, is highly improbable. IDK if they will anounce it though. I wish we had someone on the inside.
Anyone up for playing the prodigal son? It's for the greater good ๐

SimonParticipantWhat is a blood red moon
March 18, 2013 at 1:30 PM #56458
emilParticipantWhy do you want to picket them? I don't know how the law works in your country but I would think it would be better to let them have it and then sue them for breach of promise. If they did announce it was the last passover and used that to frighten people into tithing and working for them, wouldn't that be grounds enough for criminal breach?
All those who have left can demand their donations/tithes back can't they?
March 18, 2013 at 6:47 PM #56459
MountainMomParticipantIt would be very tough to sue them for anything, and most people don't have the deep pockets to do it. Picketing them would bring attention to what they are doing in that church, which is what they really don't want. They want to be underground, so to speak. There is always the chance that a news agency would pick it up as well. That would be great! They don't want newbies to know what they are all about untill they have them already trapped in there. If they knew up front what this was all about, they wouldn't go in to it. Thus the picketing, and drawing attention.

wakeupnow8Participantthey're trying to drag people i know into going to an event on april 6,2013.
the flyer says
HOF presents: mission 2013 total surrender
"Glad tidings tabernacles NYC"
Their holding it on 7th avenue 135th street
March 19, 2013 at 12:41 AM #56461
JoshuaParticipantWhat is HOF?
March 19, 2013 at 1:25 AM #56462
ILJC2013ParticipantMy husband drives all the way to TX to go to PO. Its about 5 hrs away from our house. I would do anything to keep him from going this year. I wish he would just realize that last year the church said that will be the LAST PO. They all said that but will now try and pretend they never said that?! In the mean time I worry if he is ever gonna come back bc the service is like 24 hrs long and he is exhausted by the time its done. I worry to the point where I make myself sick. One year he wasnt going to go to PO and they said he had to bc otherwise he would go to Hell. Thats a little overboard but he listened and went anyways and has been for the last 6 yrs.
March 19, 2013 at 2:15 AM #56463
desperateParticipantWhat's a PO? Is that what my brother does. He is in the cult in NY. I hope thats not something I have to worry about. It's bad enough that cult has taken him from our family, they aren't doing something strange are they?
March 19, 2013 at 2:25 AM #56464
Love'n HoneyParticipantPO is Passover

March 19, 2013 at 4:30 PM #56467
MountainMomParticipantOk, I can add Texas Zion to my list of places where they said last year was last PO.
March 19, 2013 at 7:09 PM #56468
MountainMomParticipantI talked to a newspaper source who just verified that media would get involved if people picket something. She said that sometimes they might be hesitant to cover something like the situation with the wmscog just because not all papers have the resources to do investigative journalism, but they certainly will cover someone or some organization being picketed. Exactly what I figured. Picketing is probably a really good way to expose things, as long as you do it in a legal, appropriate fashion.

Love'n HoneyParticipantI'll make a sign and walk around silently.
March 19, 2013 at 7:12 PM #56470
SimonParticipantmy only concern is if how they spin it
March 19, 2013 at 7:14 PM #56471
SimonParticipant2012 was our last passover before the picketting began ๐
March 19, 2013 at 7:14 PM #56472
Love'n HoneyParticipantI won't be spinning the sign. Just holding it silently.
