For all of you wondering about arranged marriages in the WMSCOG, they obviously happen. The WMSCOG is NOT the only church doing this.. look all around you. You’ll see more and more with time. Many times is because of the persons sexual orientation..Priest in the Catholic Church, pastor in protestant churches, etc.. that is because the law of Christ condemns homosexuals.. hypothetically speaking Apostle Paul was a full blown Homosexual himself.. 1 Corinthians 7 The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Every marriage in wms Gil has to sign off on and approve. (Wms literally does have a list with pictures of names and faces of “members who caused trouble.” The list means-if this person who shows up at another Zion, don’t let them through the door. It’s literal and actual. I know as a fact). So what about ex wms members (especially the ones who posted here telling our stories). We’re on some list like… Assembly would notice that on the submission for marriage approval. It would be one of the funniest scenes in human history. Upside down is a lot like that concept “an ex wms member wanting to marry a faithful wms member.” It’s two parallel worlds (and they’re separated). That’s told in the first few minutes of the movie, it’s not a spoiler (and you know it’s a love story from the intro).
