For all of you wondering about arranged marriages in the WMSCOG, they obviously happen. The WMSCOG is NOT the only church doing this.. look all around you. You’ll see more and more with time. Many times is because of the persons sexual orientation..Priest in the Catholic Church, pastor in protestant churches, etc.. that is because the law of Christ condemns homosexuals.. hypothetically speaking Apostle Paul was a full blown Homosexual himself.. 1 Corinthians 7 The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated? 8 Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers and sisters. 9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God… so all of you wondering about arranged marriages this is the only hypothesis that makes clear sense.. so if you’re one of those *** that left the church becau

The only arranged marriage I know about is my brother in law. He was married for 7 yrs he didnt work he JUST preached…his wife worked the entire marriage and she managed to make it to church for every service which is pretty much 24/7. Hence unhappy strained marriage. They had a young Korean girl stay w them. The girl was someones niece of someone important in the church. Fast forward he is now divorced (ex wife shunned from church) and he is married to Korean girl that once stayed w him and his wife. Ex wife doesnt know who he married bc he didnt want to tell her. Sketchy much!… interesting !!

Thisguy1Participant@mom I was going to add a question to my last post about arranged marriages. Why do many hide their marriages to Koreans in the Wms from family and friends? Why are their outright lies when asked by a parent, “Are you married?” Can someone explain that?
I have my own opinion about that, and it’s this: I think they don’t tell right away because they need to hide it from immigration services. I know that mariages to non Americans are very heavily scrutinized now. There is a long drawn out process to make sure the marriage is real and not just to get American citizenship. I think some lie and hide their marriage because they need time to build a case that there really was a relationship that proceded the marriage. There often is not, but they need to build that appearance. I really think immigration would be interested in this aspect of the arranged marriages that occur in this “church.”… USA is not the only place doing arranged marriages ok??? It’s all I over the place .. look at all the priest in the Catholic Church they’re all a bunch homosexual.. you’re perspective is appreciated though ๐

Thisguy1ParticipantIf anyone let’s someone else tell them who to marry-I’m sorry, they lost their back bone (wms took it from them). That’s not normal-especially an American falling for that… Like… In other countries the parents would arrange marriage (i think that’s totally crazy too!), But some Korean etc man pastor telling you who to “be” with the rest of your life… They need to stand up and say “look-this is my body-God said i can only be with one person, and, no, you are not going to decide that person for me you ego power hungry lunatic.” Seriously, an American who rolls over and let’s them tell them who to spend the rest of their life with (whether they say we’ve got 5 years max or not). That’s probably why they concede-they figure “i can get through it a few years.” Ok some foreign guy telling you who to marry-that’s not a love story. Go American on them like they like to say “the Americans always like to argue, it’s their culture.” Arranged marriages is the most evil thing wms does-it’s not their body! Also they really can’t date in wms (not anything without the Pastor knowing about it and shepherding it etc, and you’re not allowed to hang out with your own gender in wms, (nothing outside of Zion, preaching) none the less the opposite gender. All that is crazy suppressing every natural thing… Everything normal and every good part of life wms just deletes from your daily itinerary-and everything weird and overly for bearing they add to your life… Why does Gil and why do the Pastors want to arrange marriages? Who goes around telling other people who to marry? That’s a psychopath if @anon7..there ever was one, simply a control freak who has to control other people. “Oh it’s for the gospel-a good match for the gospel.” The Pastors are not even God doing that, and they say “Mother approved it.” … They don’t know who’s a good match when it comes down to it… What if it’s not a good match-i think the indication that the guy didn’t think of it on his own to marry her is an INDICATION it’s NOT a good MATCH… It’s not funny-that’s someone’s body and they manipulated them into giving it away-that shouldn’t be legal… They probably did it to get the visa… They coerced them into giving their body away over a visa! WMS PASTORS, YOU ARE NOT THEIR PIMP-YOU DO NOT DECIDE WHO DOES WHAT WITH WHO! but they think “well Gil approved it, so it’s good.” Gil accidentally married Lucifer-she’s the last person on earth who should be giving marriage advice…lol but it’s not funny-that’s some psychotic form of sexual abuse!…… this is guy is no one those that thinks too high of Americans .. I’m sorry to burst your bubble bug they happen all over the world.. so your argument is invalid…

They were thoroughly convinced marriage or spending more time in Zion could help save you from that sin.
IMO and from the “gossip”‘I heard, a lot of people there were closeted. It makes me quite sad for them now that I think about it, but to each his own.
But as I’ve been around the Christian scene more and more, many churches are like this and COG was a lot more welcoming to homosexuals than other Christian churches , as long as you make the effort to change.

Thisguy1Participant@setufree.. nice feedback!!! This is absolutely true! Look all around you and do your own research on homosexuals in South Koreans.: they’re worst than here in the America…

Mayor and MikeParticipant@anon. I missed one comment back there. The South Korean I was talking about was someone I met in South Korea actually. She was helping take care of our group. The pastor’s were busy getting in the way by keeping me separate, and trying to set me up with someone else later, months later. Hmmm… she could have been, could have been ruling my castle. Lol. Why am I thinking about this now? Hmm, don’t know.

anon7Participant@mayor lol bc u like her. Lol
@thisguy1 i promise you i am one of the biggest advocates of homosexuals on earth-i defend them all the time. (Not on this site). But i spend A LOT of time defending them. (I’m as straight as can be lol) but my best friends were always gay or bi (not all of my closest friends were gay or bi), but the ones i tended to really feel like “they were my best friend at the time” they were gay or bi.
@thisguy1 off the bat, my first experience at wms was a deaconess taking one look at my gay best guy friend (she said “i can tell he’s not God’s child-it’s OBVIOUS-stay away from him-there’s no point in talking to him-he’s obviously going to hell anyways.”) Note he was the best friend i ever had (and i really realized it after i lost him). It’s stuff like that that makes me want to uproot wms so bad. She sentenced him to hell by looking at his picture (his picture with his ear ring in etc). The ONLY thing that was obvious by the picture was that he was gay not straight. To me HE’S obviously going to heaven-he was so loving, so sweet, really like a Christian (but just someone who had been abused and was so young). My view is “young people kids or babies never go to hell anyways.” Without explaining it-simply they believe whatever they’re told (and their brain hasn’t developed yet, or hasn’t developed long enough to have practiced reasoning). Some people need to study the whole Bible to attain faith (and some people just believe whatever a pastor says with barely reading the Bible). I promise you atheists and agnostics are Christians on the inside most the time (they just don’t believe something because someone calling themselves a pastor or prophet said it). My favorite people were always homosexuals, bis, athiests and agnostics-so i tend to defend them more so. Christians tend to just make me mad bc i don’t like to hear anyone say anyone is going to hell. I barely believe in hell. In my point of view “if someone couldn’t believe something-THAT’S NOT THEIR FAULT. You could say it’s God’s fault (or the teachers’ fault for not explaining well). Simply if people couldn’t believe and they passed away, then like Romans said “they’re judged according to the law they held in their heart.” No, they never did hear a clear message that was logical and not confusing. Who wants to believe in God when they’re told most people they loved who passed away went to hell anyways? These people feel like “i have no one in heaven anyways.”~~
@everyone
Everything from year 5000-5999 was a very jumbled up message-the truth has been out there-it’s just meshed together with so many lies/misconceptions. I am on an antiwmscog team lol-in our view, they are the worst church on earth, therefore they have to cease being an organization. I’m not the only overly spiritual person-my friends are hyper-spiritual to create a word (they’re very in touch with the spiritual world). They don’t sound fanatical like me-that’s just my personality lol. In August i told my friend “I’m sure wms is the Antichrist church.” We’d been discussing it a while at that point. I’m like “get it together or just fight?” He’s like “take a few days, make sure you’re sure, if you feel the same, don’t wait, let’s just launch.” I was basically like “i caught them-look, they’re bad!” He’s like “well it’s about time we caught the bad guy.” Lol. I was like “yeah it took me over 5 years…lol.” that’s why my initial post was so… Like it looked like i wrote it so fast. It’s bc i did lol-it was just 2 days of “what do i say?” We decided to post something that Thursday in August at the latest, and i was about to lose internet signal, so i didn’t have till midnight. I didn’t know what to say, but we were both like “we can’t wait any longer (they recruit hundreds of people by the day).” We don’t really care what people believe (we’re more like universalists and think different cultures just perceive God differently, but love God, and that’s moreso what counts). We’re just pointing out blatant lies (we just think if wms wasn’t a church, the world would be such a better place). We’re cool with other churches-he attends occasionally. I went to other churches more so just to hear what they were saying (i don’t believe in organized religion IN THE CASE THAT the Pastor lives off the member’s tithes and offerings. I’m adamant that Pastor must pay his own bills like Paul-Paul was a great example, that’s why he got to write the new testament.
~
@thisguy1 i do see what you’re saying-you do wonder how Paul had so much insight (about homosexuality and desires etc). It makes great sense to me that God chose a person who understood about that to write about it (but someone who maybe held back on his desire to do it). I can see how the verses you mentioned Paul wrote in Romans readily fit as describing homosexual desire also.~~
@everyone and @thisguy1
In my opinion, no one is judged literally or so strictly (not just because life is SOOO stressful), but because they can’t find teachings geared towards them (all they find are the Pastors telling them they’re going to hell). They simply need to be embraced-this is exactly why homosexuals should be encouraged to come to church, bc church is very social. Wms is not social, hence why it’s the worst church-but also wms tries to keep homosexuals out of their congregation-that’s so antiGod. Everyone in the entire church building is struggling with some sin-MOST everyone now days in any building is struggling with addiction to SOMETHING. (My career is aimed at helping people get unaddicted to drugs, alcohol, etc-but addictions in general also, which includes homosexuality). Plenty of people in most church buildings are struggling with sexual immorality-BUT THE PASTORS DON’T TRY TO PUSH THEM AWAY… HYPOCRITES! Most Pastors committed sexual immorality when they were younger at least (I’ve known Pastors who committed adultery but were allowed to come back and be a Pastor soon after-i got infuriated at that…). If the churches don’t physically try to keep homosexuals out of the doors (a lot of churches, not just wms are like that)-they push them away most the time with hell and brimstone messages about them going to hell (most church t.v. pastors are like that). (No one wants to hear that). Hence why i hated wms so much-it’s hell and brimstone preaching on steroids lol. Someone who committed sexual immorality simply CANNOT judge a homosexual person-it makes NO sense-the Bible says BOTH go to hell, if you take it literally (i don’t). Jesus never committed any sin, especially not a sexual sin, but Jesus said “don’t throw stones at those who did, unless you are without sin (and no one is without it).” There’s a lot of stone throwing, especially at the homosexuals-i spend a lot of time throwing the stones right back at the “Christians.” Lol

anon7Participant@mayor you’re really funny “ruling my castle” you sound like some pop song that made a #1 hit lol (but i like pop songs)- that’s a good way to say it. Tell her sahng is Lucifer, Gil is Satan, joo is Apollo-no doubt she’ll leave the ones telling her who she can and can’t talk to lol (or maybe it’ll sound crazy lol). To me “Gil is Satan” sounds a lot less crazy than “Gil is God.” Lol. That makes way more sense lolol
October 30, 2016 at 6:51 PM #73127
anon7ParticipantGil is Satan but thinks she’s God (and Joo is also satan). This makes perfect sense to me-satan is very prone to think he’s the #1″ or “God” -that’s in the Bible lol
October 30, 2016 at 6:53 PM #73128
anon7ParticipantSatan is by definition anyone saying they’re “the God” but they’re not God lol. Especially when they require people to worship them…or worship them at 5am when I’m trying to sleep. Hence Gil is Satan lol

Thisguy1Participant@anon7.. I have 2 gay siblings and all their lives they have been talked down by “christians” for being gay.. I think is very hypocritical and laughable because many of those “christians” are gay themselves .. just look around, they’re in every church living a double life.. I’ve personally met priests, pastors and youth leaders who are dl homosexuals.. and that is my reason why I’ll never be part of a church.. I wouldn’t want my children to feel hated by “Christians” if they happen to be gay, I’ll send me to school, love them and teach them everything they need to know.. as long as churches go, to me they’re all hypocrites and don’t understand what it is like to have gay siblings.. and expect to change their “ways” .. I witnessed 9 year old brother playing with dolls and my sister using my clothes when she hit puberty.. I can’t see myself without them in “heaven” and with tons of dl homosexuals.. that just doesn’t make any sense to me..
