How can members of the WMSCOG claim that their profit was the second profit when he was divorced? What is their excuse? God clearly hates divorce? I also was talking to a member recently who chastised me for not knowing the Bible he called me Satan. When I asked him why the church has been accused of encouraging pregnancy terminations to church members he told me to focus on the Bible and not the church. He was very disrespectful and childish. Is this how they all act when you don’t buy into their nonsense?

Most of them are actually  nice people who have been manipulated by the church into working toward their agenda.  I think they "act out" sometimes because they are really so unhappy with the constant (and inevitable) rejection from people when they try to recruit.  It must wear on them greatly.  I know it saddened my son very much.  He seemed very very unhappy when he came home from recruiting.

That said, some are very arrogant as well.  They think you know nothing and they have "the truth."  They don't want to "throw pearls to swine" as they say, and guess who they consider the swine!

I think it's funny he said to focus on the Bible and not the church.  When WE say that, they get all upset!  Lol!

@Sandiegogirl They never listen to reason and regurgitate the info thr church gives them to say. So, lately members have been saying, “Father didnt physically marry mother, it was spiritual. So when you see their wedding picture is is just a visual representation”

Also the Overseer in the church we were at states, “God can have children if they want…God can do whatever they want”. But remember the bible speaks against those things. Ahn is not God. Zhang is not God. Most members when you call them on something will just call you a “Slanderer” and then blame it on bad translation as well.

@Mountainmom And @untouchablej Thanks for your input.

I was offered to do a “study” at work on my lunch hour. I was really excited to hear that I was on a sales team with Christians! When j asked them what church they went to it was very secretive and they got very defensive and said…it only teaches what is in the bible. I thought ok. Good. I finally through detective work found out what church they belonged to and I wanted to take them head on. I care very much for both girls and it breaks my heart. The word of God clearly states that we do not get it heaven by works alone. I asked them why they need to learn Korean. Cause let’s face it….if God the mother was God…she would understand all tongues. Also they told me that I was a fool for celebrating Christmas….Jesus wasn’t born in the winter they said. I said yes that very well

may be that doesn’t give us a reason to not celebrate it. In Australia at the same time of the year it is summer! I also said that if the All Powerful God chose to have Jesus born in a manger he could

have provided the strength doe baby Jesus to survive. They gave up on me and told my I was a sinner and Satans lies are tarnishing me. As a Christian I guess I am shocked to see people turn so quick when you don’t believe what they want you too…

@Sandiego The only thing missing is the Kool aid.I was telling my story on YT to a fellow ex-member, and a current member started with the “S” word…”You SLANDERER”. I tried logically to explain that telling me Im a Slanderer makes no sense, and is a comfort tactic. I noticed then that they jump in and out of Biblical and Worldy explanations and justifications. First I was a slanderer, then he threw scriptures at me, then it was back to worldy name calling, then scrupture. It was like being on a basketball court, and when your winning the opponent pulls out a Soccer ball and changes the game.
