So take it court Joshua, without proof, even testimony does not hold up.  Don't compare yours or others word to that of the apostles and God, the bible is testimony from prophets moved by the holy spirit so don't even think their words are the same, as we can see with Dianes testimony PEOPLE lie.  Go back and watch her "testimony"  if even I can see the faults in it a lawyer would rip it apart throw it right back in her face.

48:40 Daine sounds pretty upset no one called her after she left "Not one person" Almost looks like she was really upset about it.

Diane even says the pastor called looking for her. After service hmm she was sick for four days. Guess who else Call her, the one we call Mother herself? hmm even to mock her, I wonder which is no one or some called.

So is this another one of those testimonies your talking about Joshua?

By your logic a person can claim you physically assaulted them and get a court to convict you with just their testimony, but with out the scratches and bruises there testimony is pointless, just same you need physical evidence.

OFF TOPIC: A Catholic [not that his religion matters..] told me that it's ok to be drunk as long as your drunkenness doesn't cause you to sin.

I'm afraid that your friend is just a little bit off. The consumption of alcohol is not a sin but the Bible tell us not to consume to the point of being drunk. I think that someone was trying to justify their own actions in some way. Having a drink is ok however getting drunk is not. We also have to follow the laws which in most places is 0.08% blood alcohol content. This law does not violate Gods law so we are to follow it. Hope this helps.

Theres no legal limit to bac unless you’re doing certain actions. Eg driving

So far as sin of being drunk idk

Drinking alcohol is not a sin. Drunkenness is a sin in and of itself because it violates the temple of the Holy Spirit. It doesn't matter whether it leads you to other sin or not.

Personally, I do not drink alcohol, not because it is a sin, but because, in my experience, it doesn't take much for a person to go from drinking to drunkenness.

your probably right but what defines drunk is a question

Renita, here is something you can tell your Catholic friend. The catechism of the catholic church, quoting scripture, says:

1852 – There are a great many kinds of sins. Scripture provides several lists of them. The Letter to the Galatians contrasts the works of the flesh with the fruit of the Spirit: "Now the works of the flesh are plain: fornication, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissension, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God."

Obviously he either has his facts wrong, or, as Joshua said, he is trying to justify his own actions.

Drinking as long as you're not drunk, but not to drink at all would be good.  Smoking, is bad for your health, also , no one wants to talk to a christian who has smoke breath.  Some christian do say that smoking is not righteous, because their body is a temple, but incense is smoke and they burned that in the earthly temple, J/K.    To say you can drink as long as you don't get drunk or to say you can't drink at all… it is hard to prove which one is correct..  But as long as your not going around throwing up on the ground and making a fool of yourself, I guess.  But smoking is bad for your health why do it all.

Stained, Jesus was not around drunks and smokers, he was with tax collectors he actually said they're going to hell.  One sin doesn't make you have all the sins what ever that's supposed to mean.

Oh, and you were there ? and you know that for a fact ? You know who Jesus visited and talked to do ya ?  The modern day Bible barely resembles the original text particularly the Torah side of things; and again you pretended like you didn't see Jesus's question.  The Jig is up fella.

Thanks. It  was a quick question and I didn't think it needed it's own thread.

Notice FTOS disappeared from this Thread with a quickness.  Jesus still does not have his answer.  Three of us in addition to Jesus have repeated the question and poof, he's gone.  As if he doesn't see it.

Why would his log ins be after midnight?  Is he in a different time zone or something?  He claimed to know my relative in Chicago.

Maybe he likes to dedicate the other hours of the day to something else. Maybe he's taking a break from this site which all of us should do from time to time.
