So take it court Joshua, without proof, even testimony does not hold up.  Don't compare yours or others word to that of the apostles and God, the bible is testimony from prophets moved by the holy spirit so don't even think their words are the same, as we can see with Dianes testimony PEOPLE lie.  Go back and watch her "testimony"  if even I can see the faults in it a lawyer would rip it apart throw it right back in her face.

48:40 Daine sounds pretty upset no one called her after she left "Not one person" Almost looks like she was really upset about it.

Diane even says the pastor called looking for her. After service hmm she was sick for four days. Guess who else Call her, the one we call Mother herself? hmm even to mock her, I wonder which is no one or some called.

So is this another one of those testimonies your talking about Joshua?

By your logic a person can claim you physically assaulted them and get a court to convict you with just their testimony, but with out the scratches and bruises there testimony is pointless, just same you need physical evidence.

If I got calls from higher ups and expressed doubt and they didn't answer them and I never heard from someone else I'd be a bit suspicious.  But I did hear from no one for two months as I said no one from Mother down to the lowest member in Zion… That is curious but I don't know not as vindictive over it as Diance but I understand her thoughts

If my relative didn't give money like a cash cow, he would not be allowed to stay in the church.  That is a fact.  If you disagree, then lets try it and see what happens.

I have viewed the video and I find Diane to be emotional.  People are emotional creatures and when stressed emotionally, we tend to make errors that we otherwise wouldn't.

FTOS, I have no dog in this fight.  Did you watch the video objectively, or were you looking to find something?  The only sure thing in life is death, taxes…and finding supporting evidence for a foregone conclusion.  Taking a sample of one and extrapolating that the the whole is an illogical fallacy.  The supporting evidence of those that use illogical fallacies for truth is….a very, very, very short list.  There's a reason Satan is called the Great Deceiver.

    Double-check homework please!

If there are an abundance of errors in Diane's testimony, then surely it will be no burden to list a few.

Red herrings do not work on me.  Nice try though.

TBH, your attempt reveals more than you know about your thought processes.

Jesus taught critical thinking, stood up to authority, and allowed his followers to have doubt, as documented in the NT; here's your chance to emulate Him:

    What did Diane get correct?

Actually she did get the part about No one in the Church of God taught about abortion, but it was herself and other members who came to their own conclusions about it.  besides that, Nothing.

Red herring? It is hard to accept when you're in denial.

Jesus also rebuked the unlawful and those who stand against him as satan and stood up for truth and against evil.   Don't be offended I'm just emulating, I hope you try to the same.

If a criminal in court was found to be lying his whole argument or testimony would be thrown out.  Red herring please, thats just something your using to defend your own cause when you see it crumbling down.

    Awesome news!

Jesus taught that what is discussed in private shall be proclaimed from the mountaintops.

    Emulate please. (Share a secret)

(my apologies for the duplicate post.  I thought I was editing, but it appears that I created a new post, obviously).

While we all wait with baited breath for FTOS to emulate Jesus in sharing an insider secret, let us also examine FTOS'  bar that has been set relative to telling the truth.

I'm so happy this was shared because the same rule would then apply to the group, and this is according to the rules now defined by FTOS!  Truth and justice thanks you, FTOS!

Thus, if/when the day occurs that FTOS finds the group not being truthful, FTOS surely will remain consistent in his/her behavior and hold the group to equal accountability.

Yet FTOS has already confirmed in this very forum that telling lies for what he considers a good cause is acceptable. FTOS I am sorry if I have misunderstood you, but that is my impression of your opinion in this regard.

Probably comes from "woe to pregnant and nursing mothers in the last days".

btw, still waiting on that Jesus-like emulating behavior (from the New Testament).  Not hopeful though…it doesnt take much intellect to be 3 steps ahead of FTOS, but I wasn't expecting to melt his/her brain over it.

FTOS, as I look back on the comment I wrote that starts out "I don't hate you or any other member of the wmscog" and your reply, I am disappointed.  I'm disappointed that all you saw was that I said you had a disagreement, and you were angry about that.  Look at what else I said there.  Look!  Look at what the heart of all this is about.

And what fedupmom said is right.  There is no fairness.  There is no give and take when trying to talk about my relative's religion.  There is just that we have to come to his church and he won't set foot in ours because he was told by the pastor he couldn't.  There is no, ok, I'll listen to you and then you listen to me.  We have already done that.  I listened, and that is WHY I will never be in the wmscog.  It has false doctrine. On the other hand, my relative refuses to listen to one word that might show the glaring contradictions in the wmscog, and there are so many.  So many people see this.  There is no compromise.  That is just another way to know this is the wrong place to be.

MM I didn't get upset with you I dont' hate you either or anyone on this site. I know what you're saying, but the problem is, going to another church means going and sitting infront of "another God" like the sungod.  That is why we don't set foot in another church, that is the truth, your relative probably doesn't want to call you that or hurt your feelings, and I'm not saying this to hurt you either, that is what we believe.

In korea there is a tradition its a buddist tradition, which koreans put wine and food infront of their deceased family or friends and bow all the way to the floor infront of it.  We don't do that or even go anywhere near it, because we aren't going to get on our knees and bow to a ghost or DEAD person.

To you they are "glaring contradictions" but to millions of people they are not.  sorry to say, only a hand full  of people think they are, those people are you and the people here.  And that is true there is no compromise, we are right you are wrong and we will not fold.  You don't have to come to the church, but we will not go to a church that worships "another God, idols or demons".    if even a angel or relative or friend preaches another gospel let them be condemned! We are right you are wrong that is our mentality, if you don't like that, it really doesn't matter to us, we are not here to please you or anyone else.  If you try to get in the way we don't mind not seeing you anylonger, if you hate us and keep trying to stand in the way we have no problem choosing our god over you any day. We will always choose god over anyone.  But let me say this if you let us be, then we will eat with you and laugh with you and spend time with you!  (I played golf with my father in-law on sunday he isnot a believer and he is very much in to money and wordly things! we laughed we talked ate lunch I had a great time! can't wait to do it again!).  But that's YOUR CHOICE! not ours! and don't make YOUR ACTIONS our fault, you push us away!  If you can't leave well enough alone, because of your thoughts and your prejudice and your beliefs, then don't be upset at the outcome its clear who we would rather choose.

AGAIN THIS IS NOT TO OFFEND YOU BUT THIS IS WHAT WE BELIEVE, AND I PUT THIS IN THE EXACT WORDS.

Oh, believe me, I know you aren't here to please me or anybody else.  And I also already know you (and the others in the wmscog) don't care about the heartache and pain you cause others.  Too bad.  I feel sorry for anyone who thinks it is ok to cause pain to their family.  God doesn't want that, and you don't know what you are losing by staying in that place.  It will become obvious soon.  I hope it isn't too late for you FTOS.  I hope you don't lose everything before you wake up to the lies.  Some people already have.
