An immediate reminder of Obama's call to service awars the church recieved some years back. The church touted it as a major achievement but after some time it became very evident that they were being disingenuous about the award's level of prestige due to the fact that anyone can get the award for some small sum of money.
I don't care much to explore the details about this one but I would bet you a lotto ticket and a beer that this is a similar situation.
Two Very Simple points. The bible/Jesus clearly references doing your good deeds in secret and not seeking glory from men. Clearly, WMS is vain in their approach to glory, because they boast and resend information about these bogus awards. Secondly (and an 8th grader can see this), If Jerusalem will be “the praise” of the Earth, then why does Zhang get credit for work she hasnt done? And, many times efforts are done under thr Guise of the We Luv U foundation, which claims to be Non-faith based. Sketchy
Sketchy? Could be. Appearances seem very important to this group. They seem to be similar to the Pharisees, who committed acts to be seen by others, they made their tassels long fo sho. Jesus spoke 7 woes against them.
