    For those who live in the Northeast USA, or to be more expecific NYC.. there was an event that took place this past sunday November 29, 2015, The grand opening of "Mother's Love" Art exhibition about mother, that it's been hosted by the WMSCOG in New York City, I came across this thru my love one… and according to their website it's going to be showing in many big cities across the US…

    Did anyone else here, heard about this??? I wonder how much money they are paying to have this exhibition, i'm sure they have plenty… They are really looking into every possible way of spreading this big lie about god the mother..

    It was even advertised in the New York Times and Time magazine… (i'm tying to get a hold of the picture of the advertisement, but from what i know it was a whole page in both publications…?

    I know the advertisement was publised in the Time magazine issue of end of november ( I posted a link below, you can only see the cover, if anyone has this issue, can you please upload the photo from the advertisement

    Yes, I have heard of this.  I'm sure it cost a bundle to rent the building where it was held.  And how much does it cost to run a full page ad in Time magazine?  Wow.  No skin off their nose, I'm sure.  A drop in the bucket.

     Pretty ironic they have this theme for their show when they have broken so many mothers' hearts so completely.

    Apparently they don't revere mothers in general, but only their "Mother" in Korea.

    Risky investments…what if the turnout is not as good as they projected? Will that mean a loss for their company?

    I heard the turnout was good, but that info was taken from a member, and they always exaggerate the positive side with numbers, so it probably wasn't as good as that member said.  A lot of money was thrown at this project, apparently, and it was in a really high rent district so it is being hyped pretty well I bet.   But in an expensive area, there are more people with money who might see them as a legitimate enterprise.  Recruitment and the purpose of legitimizing themselves is the reason they spent so much on this.

    They may lose money on this, but I am sure they feel a few good recruits with a lot of money to give will more than make up for it.

    Apparently the turn out was good.

    A lot of the artists on display are freelancers or struggling artists trying to make a name for themselves and have no clue what the church is about. The New York news covered the story and the attendees looked to be mainly church members. I do know any local Zion had to take a trip there for the opening, because 2 members I know went there.

    From Instagram, it seems that a lot of members were standing outside convincing passerbys to go in for a free art show.

    The Times ad did surprise me, very pricey.

    Someone said there were 10,000 people there.  That has to be an exaggeration.  But if members were told they had to go, it is also hard to tell how much the numbers were really inflated. How many peole were there due to the hype, and how many were actually members who were told they needed to go?

    Wondering, has anyone called the Times and asked what a full page ad would be?  Just curious.  Also, I wonder what the rent was on the space the Wms used for this Art show.

    Good investment then I guess, wise choice they made (from their angle, of course)

     Well, maybe not.  They (the leaders) never know what may cause it all to go down the tubes for them.  Maybe they will be exposed before they can cash in.  That is my hope, anyway.

    It always concerns me….how members are oblivious to a very basic point. Like Ron Ramos stated in the video with Hassan…”Its not so much what they say, its what they don’t say”. Pertaining to this type of event, I remember the coercive statements when there where events. I also remember that when things are “convenient”, involvment can be counted as, “preaching”. Often times statements or texts would go as follows;

    “Brother and sister…we will be [fill in meeting, assembly, field trip etc here]. You have great oppurtunity for blessings. You need to make EVERY Effort to attend. “

    And of course these things/events are always told to members on extremely short notice, and after tiredness,fatigue etc. But to my point…they wont say out right, “You better go or else”, but they say it loud and clear.

    My daughter in College in Ky was put on a bus at midnight the Saturday night after services and drove through the night to be at the Mothers Love exhibit on opening morning. She stayed all day. Said there were speakers, she was emotional about ” mothers love”. She said it can’t be measured. She boarded the bus Sunday afternoon and after the 12 hour ride back she got in her car and went to class Monday morning. She did the same thing to go on a blood drive a few weeks before where she was only in NY a few hours before turning around and driving back. She’s an all-American track athlete and she became critically anemic and had to go to a doctor. They told her she needed a blood transfusion! I told her I didn’t see anywhere in the bible where Jesus said to give blood and pick up garbage for good works. I thought that the church just wanted her time and money, but now they want her blood too?

    Momsix   I am really touched listening and reading your article about your daughter,Mothers love is a big ?,because i dont think she really searches for her children like we who are on the Examining are,in fact she has thought her children to call the lost ones various names like Judas,Satan the ones who betray god.What really touches me the most is when i had requested the pastor to carry out a blood drive in 2007, he casualy said we have to spread the glory of godnot only by preaching we have to do some good works so that our church is recognized all over the world.Like in various parts of the world they do street cleaning in Korea they take care of the poor old people Mother her self serves food and gives clothing .Show us one of their home made videos.Point here is he gave me a big lecture he said it is only the blood of Christ that can give us eternal life as per Jn  6:53 .not the blood of human,so why give blood if that person takes our blood anyways he will die .so in stead we must teach and give them the blood through which we can save them and give them Eternal life.He even said though the other churches practise all this we should not follow any ways they are going to die.So  i just wonder what these crooks are up to next.

    Momsix, your story is is so sad, and so typical of those told by parents of these kids.  How ironic that she would be at the point of needing blood herself after going all the way to New York to give blood!  Or should I say, how outrageous.  I can gurantee you the leaders of the Wms do not care about this though.  If you talk to them they will say it is her choice.  They did nothing to cause her to think she had to do this.  Right.

    They will use their members in every way they can, time, talent, treasure, and even blood. At one point I read they were asking for people to donate bone marrow too.  That was a while ago, and I haven't heard it since, but if that is true, it is really concerning because that is a very painful and invasive procedure.

    @Momsix
    you story is truly hearbreaking I cannot begin to imagine how much you must hurt right now. But one thing I can advise is that never break the cummunication with your daughter she will need you when the cult discards her when they're done exploiting her fo all she can give.

    This is exactly how the cult operates. It literally sucks the life out of all its members and when the members should suffer any sort of financial and sometimes health problems they are blamed and made to feel guilty that it was all "their fault"that they're broke not because they're spending too much money and time at the cult but they are entirely to blame.

    Or they must have done or thought something evil whilst they were doing the gospel work and now mother is punishing them by taking away their health. The cult will always use that sort of rhetoric that shifts the blame to the members for any and all things deemed undesirable as laid out by the koreans. In doing this the cult always has clean hands because no one was "forced" to do anything but "volunteered."

    This sort of behaviour is truly disgusting

    @momsix Some advice. If your daughter says, “Im doing all this of my own will”, just help her to see that the WMS isnt telling her to do all the right things; like

    1. Consider her career

    2. Consider her family

    3. Consider her health

    They only tell members to even think about these things, when the member has hit rock bottom. Then (as they told my wife when she would be exhausted, frustrated and or angry) they say;

    “Oh, we never say that.”
