With all of the psycology surrounding the word "Mother" I wonder what this day means to the average everyday follower of the WMSCOG and its doctrine. So many followers cannot even give a acurate definition of what "Mother" means I shudder to think what they might say about "Mothers Day"! I'm sure that like every other holiday that might take away from the things of the WMS this holiday must be based in some kind of pagan tradition. Is the Sun some kind of pagan mother so all of us that honor our mothers on this day are really worshipping the Sun? After all of the pestering about supposedly worshipping a sun god on Sundays I could see this kind of flawed logic being used here as well. On the other hand maybe the cult uses this holiday to focus on their created god. They probably even collect a special offering in her honor. Not a bad way to make a bit of extra money fleesing their members after all, who are they supposed to be loving anyway? What are your thoughts?

Thanks!  We keep in touch with texts quite often too, and his brother is going out to visit at the end of May.  It's been difficult, but we find a way to keep him in the fold as much as possible.
