With all of the psycology surrounding the word "Mother" I wonder what this day means to the average everyday follower of the WMSCOG and its doctrine. So many followers cannot even give a acurate definition of what "Mother" means I shudder to think what they might say about "Mothers Day"! I'm sure that like every other holiday that might take away from the things of the WMS this holiday must be based in some kind of pagan tradition. Is the Sun some kind of pagan mother so all of us that honor our mothers on this day are really worshipping the Sun? After all of the pestering about supposedly worshipping a sun god on Sundays I could see this kind of flawed logic being used here as well. On the other hand maybe the cult uses this holiday to focus on their created god. They probably even collect a special offering in her honor. Not a bad way to make a bit of extra money fleesing their members after all, who are they supposed to be loving anyway? What are your thoughts?

Well while I'm not a mom yet, but will be hopefully someday, In the meantime I want to do a shout out to all the MOTHER"S here. Happy Mother's Day God bless You, hope you have a wonerfulday.
Even if you don't celebrate Mother's day, we all know that Mothers day is everyday, but to recognize those special mothers and honor them for all they do for us the children. We appreciate you & you are the most important person in our lives. Sometimes us the children give you a hard time, but no matter what no one in this world can replace you or the love we feel for you. Mom's are the Greatest!

I just think is so unfair to mothers to only dedicate them one day of the year. Some just call their mothers today and what about the rest of the year. Moms are your mother even thought you die. They are your mom forever. When you do not call them because you know they do not agree with you being in that church and forgetting about family, they still your mothers. They feel deep inside so much pain to have their children being take apart from themselves and even in that pain, they still your mother. And finally when you decide to leave that church, when you truly realize that you were wrong, if your lucky enough to have her alive, she will be there waiting to share time with you and she is going to still be your mother. Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mothers that visit this site, whether you are in the church or not, or whether you have your son or daughter in the church do not ever surrender. I thank to my mom who never opposed to the church, and even after getting out she was there for me and lucky me that still have the chance to share time with her.
My son called me on Mother's Day, and I was very happy about that. It was late, and I am sure they kept him busy trying to make him forget, but he didn't. I think they are still harrassing him somewhat about the Columbia article, but a few weeks ago I heard he told the people who were talking to him that he didn't want to hear another word about it. I was proud of him for that.
At first he said the only one talking to him was the Pastor, but I bet the Pastor gave the dirty work of harrassing him about me to the main recruiter or a missionary. I am sure the Pastor wouldn't want his hands dirtied by engaging in harrassing him directly. Anyway, my son told them to quit talking about it. He is still in there somewhere, under the layers they've coated him with.
