I went to the store to buy a gallon of milk and while I was waiting to pay I saw this on the FRONT PAGE of the largest newspaper in the state of New Jersey
What a great article! This newspaper may have just done the greatest service to the people of New Jersey that any media outlet has ever done. Finally, the media gets on board to shine the light on a very secretive and destructive organization. Maybe the rest of them will find the courage of these writers from the Jersey Record. I would hope other news organizations would want to get on board with exposing the inner workings of a self serving cult that has already caused untold amounts of pain and misery. Maybe this group will get investigated, as it certainly should be.
As I've said before, I think the members of the Wms are mainly good people who have simply been fooled and taken for a ride. But the leaders, well, I have a whole 'nother opinion about them. They have a shady business going, in my opinion, that has made them a lot of money. There is no overhead cost for them, as the members give excessive amounts of money, and pay for everything in the church down to the toilet paper in the bathrooms. And the product they claim to deliver (salvation) will never be delivered.
Ron, Brian, Michelle, Diane and Jeff are HEROS!!! Excellent article! I love how Ron said that the mother jumped when she heard the fire alarm and his thought – why is god surprised?! LOL
They can try to make her into an earthly god but the woman is hopeless! She can't hear, she doesn't speak any other language than Korean, she can't travel outside the country (or won't), she falls asleep in assemblies, and on and on it goes. And the other half of that equation is the dead man buried in the grave in Korea and he is now… where? Haven't figured that one out yet. Spirit floating, in the clouds, on another planet? Maybe he is with L Ron Hubbard discussing who was the best deceiver and who has more followers. Because we all know they both just shed their earthly bodies so they can now get things ready in the afterlife for their devoted members.
I also liked the part about Governor Christie. The man is a devout Catholic and WMS believes they are Satan followers and that the Pope is the antichrist. Why would they want his endorsement? Could it be that they use people in high positions to draw attention to their group so they can gain new members? Could it be that when they gain new members they gain more money? Could it be that the money is shared amoungst the leaders of the church and they are becoming wealthy off the members hard earned money?
The last 2 articles on this group have talked about the exorbitant amounts of money this group brings in. I bet the leaders are scrambling to hide and cover up! Pay attention deacons, missionaries, and leaders. They will put money/accounts in your name so YOU will be the one taking the fall. You can bet that they will do everything in their power to not have the evidence point to them.

The comment section under the article is also awesome. There are some excellent points made by a lady there, initials E.N.. I recommend that people read those comments as well as the article. I don't know if the cult has ordered people to get on there and bury the positive comments yet, but that is their usual M.O., so I expect that. Let's not let them!

I've commented on news articles before, and what happens is they try to bury the comments against the Wms by having members get online and stand up for the church. I am surprised by the lack of comments from the Wms on the Ridgewood article. Maybe it is because they are afraid to let the members read it, lol!
I saw another article on something called Mediatate, or something like that. I think it may be an online only new outlet. I hadn't heard of it before today. Anyway, it seems the media is getting on board with this. I think they were very hesitant before, but not now.
@mountain. I feel that progress is being made, and soom they will get hit hard. My dream, is that they loose money in the US, and are forced to go back over seas.

Matthew 6:4-6 Speaks about NOT doing your good deeds to be seen by man. WMS you failed at this. You save a family ravaged by Flood, just to try to make a prophecy match up. But your evil works are clearly seen.
I hope this article goes VIRAL and I hope the IRS checks all of this out! I miss my beautiful family members so very much and I hate to see them lied to over and over and over, all for the love of money, power and control, which my family has NONE of anymore! Where do you think in the line of communication/control with Zangh do you think that the big wigs of the wmscog, like Ridgewood, KNOW that she is not really god that she is just another person just like them but they keep the masqurade going? There has to be one of their "salesmen" that knows she not really god but keeps "promoting the product" to the believers of their fake product and it's all for the love of money, power and control.

I agree Mountain Mom…the members are good people who have been poisioned slowly but surely…hopefully some members will read this and relize that all the monies given by them were not used as they were told and believed because I know that they drain the members down to pennies to survive on and then makes them feel guilty for not giving more…..makes me sad, makes me sick.

My overseer showed me signs he doesn’t believe mama z is God. He supposed to believe. I think he’s just in it for the job. A career.
I think every overseas member (US members) has a WMS expiry date. I reached mine.
I’m only going to be able to make so much money in my lifetime. It’s not worth it for me to give and receive lies and believe fantasies. They can’t give me a certificate guaranteeing anything they claim. Their predictions DONT come true. They speak in hindsight. According to the bible, my overseer showed me he doesn’t have salvation. It was bye bye time for me and the many before me.
I think that they know at the Pastorial level that Zhang isn’t God. Part of me thinks that they tell members that she is the closest thing to what they think the biblical representation of her, is. I put this together because I know they don’t honestly believe ASH is God. Hell, he didnt believe that.

It is my strong opinion also that they know for sure at the Pastorial level that she isn't God. Why else would they lie so much? I know of a whopper the Pastor from the Chicago Zion told to protect one of his deacons, and of course, the image of the church.
And I also heard that when they were preaching 2012 a member (obviously disgruntled) brought in a paper saying that this same Pastor would sign over all his worldly possessions to the holder of the paper if the world didn't end as predicted. Needless to say, this pastor didn't sign it!
@mountain. I want to hear that, Whopper. When my first Overseer was sexually harassing the Female members, the just moved him to another Zion, pretty far away. That way the members there didn’t know what transpired.
Bump. Loved that article on the front page of the Jersey record. I've read it over and over! I heard the Jersey Record is the largest, most read paper in the state! Kudos to the brave people who came forth. Kudos to Abbott Koloff.
I heard that the movie "Spotlight" died three deaths before it finally became a movie. By that I mean, it got turned down. The people telling that story perservered and finally justice was done. For so long, the Wms has seemed like a terrible wrong that no one cared enough about to make right. Not any more.
