    Did any of you ever hear stories of AhnSahngHong or Zahng Gil-Jah performing miracles? Whenever I asked about miracles I was told by the deacon that 'father and mother' did perform miracles but in secret and the church couldn't talk about them.

    One member told me that when his brother in law went to Korea, Zhang told him to pick an apple (from the Big apple orchard on the Go&Come grounds). He then stated that his initials were in the apple he picked.

    Another member told me that when he visited, Zhang told him that he would go through a financial hardship but it won’t be bad. On the flight back to the U.S., his job notified him via phone that they were laying him off.

    What is funny, is that I was told Zhang and Ahn, DON’T do miracles in this age. I can’t remember the reasons why this was stated, but I do remember being told this

    Hmmm… I was told no miracles. Are they changing that belief? Ahn preached a sermon, (before they make a video cartoon of it and translated it to english) that there are to be no more miracles. It was a good sermon.

    How come they never went ahead into the orchird and wrote my initials on my apples? Huh! I'm jealous.

    I've heard stories of what members wanted to call miracles. Stuff like mother serving pizza after someone during the day mentioning that they would like to have some pizza. Another one had something to do with there being tomatoes in the fruit baskets during a visit to see mother. How these are miracles baffles me but the members swear by stuff like this. Here's a story that I heard that sounds more miracules too me; A member was in a mall, in Oregon I think, when a gunman opened fire. The member was struck in the chest and supposedly the bullet went right through her. The story determines that this person was unscathed because of the love of mother and the power of the Passover. A picture of a jacket with entry and exit holes was supposedly video taped. Here's the rub; this person was NOT interviewed, no one witnessed this event first hand, and the supposed member is not available to share her testimony. (It's also possible that she is no longer involved with the WMSCOG.) If this event had actually happened I have NO DOUBT that the local news would have been all over this and the WMSCOG would have been very public about the event.

    When I asked my son about why Ahn did no miracles he said Mathew 24:24 said that the false Christ will work miracles so if Ahn did miracles he would be false Christ.

    I hear a lot about how Ahn restored Passover and Saturday Sabbath. Even though Jews do this. So to me that doesnt make him God bc it was never done away with in the first place. What did Mother God do again? Besides be the Heavenly Jersusalem in a Bible verse even though they are referring to Sarah and Hagar…I really do wonder how she was chosen and what the thought process was…Is she some sort of Biblical Scholar or Nun…um dont think so??

    I was taught that the feasts and the sabbath were done away with sometime in the first centuries by Rome. The wmscog taught me that but I haven't done much research into it. Such things would have be restored when Israel gained independence in 1948 the latest.

    As for mama z being Jerusalem, at one point the members were taught that she never had kids to fulfill Isaiah 54:1 (if I remember correctly). But really she had children the whole lie… I mean time.

    @Mayor The irony thing about the “Apple with initiala is this”. There is a great book out calles the, Believing Mind, which basically deals with mans Psychological manifestations of “the God”. Whatever was carved on that apple, in the mind of the believer would have been something. If I couldnt recognize initials, my mind may have made it be the Chinese symbol for mother, or a Number, or a face..whatever.

    I also heard, “The greatest miracle was the restoration of the Passover”, and the scripture, “A wicker and perverse Generation requires a sign.” They will claim both sides if the coin, when it becomes convienent. What sets them up for continued Failure, is their lies. Why would two different Overseers have so many discrepencies, and then Why would God allow this? Heck, if I wasnt told sooo many varying stories, I might still be a member.

    Discrepencies? I've learned so many since I joined this site. You know Untouchable, our overseers would not approve of us talking on this site because of these golden discrepencies. Ah well, too late now. Not much they can do about it.

    If they stayed humble and didn't get mama z to be God, but just head overseer it would have be better. It they didn't lie, the church would have been bigger more successful. Too late for the truth now.

    Miracles sound like something new in the church. They must be trying to get more people to believe and not doubt.

    The WMSCOG is about to go to red alert…

    But maybe it's time for the NCPCOG to start up an overseas branch church. I would join.

    I would join as well. I could believe better in a prophet, than a Man-God. Humans make mistakes, Gods don’t.

    @Joshua
    I also heard rumours here in Australia about the bullet hole in shirts story. I never saw any evidence of this miracle. However other members loved to bring it up and rejoice over it. It was a 'fragrance of Zion' to lift the spirits and strengthen faith in the passover. I think it's just a rumour though. It probably snow-balled out of something smaller. Like the apple initials, you see what you want to see and are convinced it's a miracle because that's what you want.

    One 'sister' came back from visiting 'mother'. She told me she met 'mother' at her fish pond. 'Mother' called out "come to me my fishes" and they all swam over to her. I said to this 'sister' "I have an illness that can't be cured. Why isn't 'mother' doing something for me instead of playing with these fishes". My 'sister' just walked away and left me.

    @Hyde When it comes to the Believing Mind, as humans we can make anything happen. I just recalled a “brother” telling me how when he visited “mother”, it was cloudy, and whenever she would come outside, the clouds would open up only where she was. But this is based on our own subconscious interpretation. As for the fish, my dad had a huge fish tank years ago. He would play jazz music, and the fish would all go to the bottom of the tank. If he put his hand near the top, they all would float up…is this magic? No. Its the believing mind. Especially with Koi, if you go near the edge and raise a hand, they all show up. Our believing minds will make anything a sign.

    Was anyone else here told the story of the brother who was in Aghanistan and Father's book protected him from the bullet?

    There was also the story about how a brother had an asthma attack during an overseas trip and had to be hospitalized, Mother visited him and he was miraculously healed in the hospital in no time.  There was also a video shown to 'prove" it to us.  Which was nothing a but an overlit PR video of her smiling and hovering over his hospital bed as he wept.

    When a member I know went to Korea to visit Mother, he was allowed to ask one question, "Will my wife go to heaven?"  Mother, through an interpreter, said "Yes."  This was hilarious because his wife hates the Mother, hates the church, doesn't believe, doesn't go to church, and wants him to quit because it has caused all kinds of hardship in their marriage.    How can she go to heaven when she believes this way, and her husband does everything they ask and he isn't even assured of his spot?  Answer that one, Wms.  Oh, and this member came back and said, when asked how "The Mother" was, he said, "She was nice."  Lol!  No lightening bolts, no falling down on your knees in the presence of God Almighty?  No, the impression was, "She was nice."

    What about this one. The deaconess said that 'mother' had phoned her up and was asking about all of us WMS members by name. I was told that 'mother' knew all kinds of things about me and others when she spoke on the phone. I gotta admit I fell for that one. What a sucker! ๐Ÿ™‚

    @setufree
    , Yeah I remember the Afghanistan soldier story. It's so confusing because you are told that eternal life is the only miracle that matters but there are these other rumours about miracles floating around.

    Why are there never any videos of these miracles? Mother could have the whole world believing in her if she had a PR campaign of miracles. Btw… Mormons tell the same type of stories. Soldiers have been saved from bullets by their garment protecting them. Muslims believe that they are protected because of their prayers – Christians too. But there are always excuses for “real life” happenings. Believers protect their faith just like the WMS members. We hear things like “God works in mysterious ways,” and “we don’t always understand Gods plan,” or God took them home because he needed another angel.” What I have learned from this whole WMS experience is that people want to believe what they want to believe, even when presented with facts that prove their beliefs false. For a person to disconnect from their faith, there has to be many seeds of doubt planted – and then they might start doing research. To undo the indoctrination takes a long time. It is hard to accept but many will never have an open mind to non-belief because they WANT to believe. They are content living in a fantasy and following the rules of storybooks.

    I heard a rumor that there will be a new tv show called Zang's supernatural world. Now I don't know how reliable my source is but there are supposed to be miracles on the show.  ๐Ÿ™‚
